Opposites

The school's exams are fast approaching with just a month left for the students to prepare themselves and as usual the first one to get to the library is none other than one of the school's brightest students Erica Thompson,

This red haired girl could be seen surrounded with books on either archaeology or geography, she was totally immersed in what she was doing , she adjusted her glasses on the ridge of her nose a couple of times that one will think she was at war with those big glasses that covered half of her face.

After what seemed like forever she finally came out of the library looking exhausted as she makes her way to the hostel.

I'm so tired right now but all this stress will be worthwhile, I have keep my scholarship nobody is going to be able to pay the fees if I don't, it is a great opportunity for me to be in a school like this and I won't lose it just because of laziness said Erica to herself. On getting into her room she was welcomed by the sight of her roommate, Zara Moon who was blasting metal music in the room and dancing wildly, thankfully the room was soundproofed by the school's management as requested by Zara.

Zara spotted Erica at the door shortly after her arrival and she turned off the music, hey baby girl how are you doing, I haven't being seeing you around lately asked Zara, yeah well I was studying replied Erica. As expected of the school's top three student said Zara teasingly said, I know you want to keep your scholarship and all that but don't push yourself too much ok, you look like a panda right now with those bags under your eyes said Zara. Thanks for your concern Zara but it's nothing to worry about really, I just need to take a little nap I'll be fine replied Erica, really Erica you were literally studying on a weekend but if you think that you are fine who am I to stop you , but you sincerely need to take care of yourself I wouldn't what to have a sick roommate said Zara ,No worries said Erica .

Although I and Zara are complete opposites we get along pretty well, she unlike me is from a rich family but she doesn't like being dependent on anyone not even her family,she only reaches out to her family if it is an emergency. She is so independent that she chose to live in the school's hostel when she could easily get a house like the other rich kids in school. Zara May look headstrong,tough and rebellious but she is actually sweet,nice and caring to those she cares about. Zara is outgoing,daring and carefree while I, Erica is an introvert and meticulous and what people like to call a total bookworm.

We may at first sight look like the most likely people not to get along but we are close and could be mistaken for sisters.
