Angel

Erica came back in time and witnessed the man she saved opening his eyes, he tried to get off the bed, wearing a confused expression.

She moved to his side to stop him from moving.

Who are you?, he asked

I am Erica, I found you badly injured so I brought you here.

He tried sitting up again, Erica stopped him saying' Moving too much could make the injuries worse , just lay down for now the ambulance will be here soon'

He couldn't sense any killing intent coming from her, he gave her simple nod in response.

Anyway there was no need for him to be wary of a human, even in his current condition he's not that easy to deal with, the only exception being that the human is a hunter.

'She doesn't seem capable of hurting a fly, instead her appearance makes you want to protect or even bully her.

her eyes are gentle and beautiful, like a little angel's'.

His gaze moved to her neck and he found it hard to stop staring.

His eyes stuck on the veins pulsating in her neck,a itch went down his throat as he unconsciously gulped. The longer he stared at her the larger his thirst grew.

He could barely control himself, he lost a lot of blood due to his injuries making his thirst harder to control.

Erica noticed his unwavering gaze on her, 'do you need something' she asked him.

'No I'm fine' he forcefully tore away his eyes from her, trying his best to suppress it.

Erica saw his discomfort, thinking it had something to do with the pillow she leaned closer to adjust it.

Her scent filled his nostrils and his heart beat sped up. His hot breath blew on her neck, her skin slowly being tinted red, she stood up and asked him 'are you ok now'?

..Huh?

I saw that you were uncomfortable so I adjusted the pillow.

If you're still not comfortable I can get you another pillow

'No it's fine' he replied

A loud siren was heard in the quiet woods

'The ambulance is here I'll go out to meet them.

The paramedics came down from the ambulance and she directed them to the cabin.

He was soon taken away by them, Erica remained in the cabin and waited for her parents.

Not long after the ambulance left the Erica's parents arrived and they headed home.
