The cursed child part 2

As he was walking down the road he heard a carriage so he went to the side of the road and laid down hoping that the people would see pity on him and take him to the city. He made himself as visible as posable and made himself look sad. He covered most of his skin to make it so that people would not instantly die when they touched him but still visible enough that you would see the face.

The carriage stopped close to him and he saw that the carriage was quite luxurious. Not too luxurious that you would think that it belonged to a king but luxurious enough that it would belong to a noble. When the carriage door opened he saw a knight walked out and looked at him. The knight then started talking with the person in the carriage.

"Knight captain what should we do with this baby it looks like it's from the village up ahead and based on its appearance it looks like the village has been raided by bandits."

"Take it with you, the child looks pretty muscular for his age and would fit perfectly in the new training course that the king wants. The king wants us to get some orphans and train them to become royal knights and have undying loyalty."

"Why chose this child. You could just take a child from the orphanage."

"Well, you see he has blond hair and blue eyes making him perfect for the royal knights. he would also become extremely loyal due to him being saved by knights. He is also young making him easy to manipulate to follow the king."

While they were talking Dante was listening and realized that this was a golden opportunity he could both get high status and get training. The only thing he had to do was to seem extremely loyal and naive. So he waited until their conversation was over.

The knights however we're talking about where they should put the child and chose that he could sit in the carriage along with the knight captain to make the child more trusting of the knights. So they went to Dante and said that they would help him and took him into the carriage. While they were doing this Dante was considering how he should behave and chose to act like a normal child and act amazed by the knights.

In the carriage, the knight captain was friendly towards Dante and told him stories about the different battles he was in. Dante also learned that they were in the north continent and were in the Piave kingdom that is in a war with the neighboring kingdom. He also learned that he would be trained as a knight and would train until he became fifteen and then he would begin his training as a royal knight until he was twenty, of course, Dante acted excited.

After about an hour they were in the village and the knights confirmed that it was a bandit raid and looked for survivors. The knights didn't find any survivors and were on their way back to the capital. After two days they were back and took Dante to the knight's barracks and chose to have him train under the knight's captain.

The first week under the knight captain was mostly spent doing easy exercises and touring the barracks. Dante had also chosen to wear clothes that covered his whole body alongside his hands. The knights were first confused but got used to it over the week.

Dante had also used a mirror and found out that he had medium-length blond hair and light blue eyes along with #A1 tattooed on his neck. He found out that normal people can't see the tattoo and concluded that only the reincarnated will see it.

When he turned five his body was already filled with muscles and he had his blond hair in a ponytail. When he turned five he began his training in using an iron sword. At first, it was heavy and he dropped it a lot but after a month he was able to hold the sword. He had also learned that the people of this planet had almost no limit to their strength.

He had also been introduced to four other people that were going through knight training. He had not become friends with them because he had a hard time having fun with five-year-olds. So he continued to be friendly towards the knights and training.
