Chapter Seven: What Do You Need My Help With?

The following late afternoon Hazel woke up to Olivia still sleeping peacefully in her arms. She gets that warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach again, how do you do this to me Olivia? She thinks whenever I'm with you I feel so safe and cared for, I've never just felt that way when I'm with someone. She subconsciously begins to run her fingers through Olivia's soft hair.

Olivia wakes up to feel someone running their finger through her hair, as she remembers where she is, a light blush covers her cheeks, Hazel she thinks. Hazel realizes that Olivia is awake and flings her hand away from Olivia's hair "Hi" she says embarrassed. "Hi" Olivia says back softly reassuring Hazel she didn't mind. "You still haven't told me what you need my help with. I am dying to know." "Oh, ya and I will tell you I promise I just need to eat something first." Hazel and Olivia make lunch together flirtatiously fighting the whole time.

They curl up on the couch in the reading nook. "I need your help to take over the land of happiness to turn it into something dark and gloomy." "Why on earth would you want to do that? The land of happiness is perfect the way it is." Olivia starts to get defensive. "I know it sounds completely insane but something is too perfect about this place, something is not right." "It feels right to me everything was perfect, until YOU came here. YOU are the one who's not right. I mean like why is YOUR skin so pale and why are YOU messy? You are just an UGLY WEIRDO!" Olivia yells, Hazel forces Olivia out of the tree, feeling hurt and betrayed. Olivia runs off as fast as she can not knowing where she is going. She just runs, and she runs till she can't run any longer. Collapsing on the ground, she breaks down in tears. What have I done, Hazel will never forgive me, she'll never talk to me ever again, I am such a horrible person. How could I be so stupid, I literally hate myself. Olivia sits under a tree in the middle of nowhere thinking about what she did when she notices the sun fade into nothingness and the moon rises.

When Olivia left, Hazel was in utter shock; she did not expect her to get so defensive. She was so hurt by what Olivia had said she lay in her bed and stared up at the ceiling. How could someone give me a warm fuzzy feeling yet also hurt me this much?! it doesn't make sense. She pauses to think it over, No matter what I forgive her I know she never meant to hurt me she just got defensive, that's all. She'll always make me feel warm and fuzzy, but I have to cut her some slack, everyone makes mistakes. She will always be mine.  Hazel starts to fall asleep after thinking about Olivia and the warm fuzzy feeling returns.
