Rules of Survival

That was like a nightmare. Never imagined something like this could ever happen. That Supreme being Seth just came out of nowhere and started ordering 'Let the survival begin!!'.

He put on a barrier over the entire island so we could see the colour of the sky changing for us from blue to a redder shade. Then we realised it was not some nightmare it was worse than that.

It happened so fast that people just couldn't react to it and now we are stuck and isolated from the rest of the world.

By appearance Seth was not like a monster or something his body structure was mostly human like but he felt like an ancient being, ancient pharaoh has been resurrected.

"I have covered this whole island as this will be your survival ground, and you can't escape from it humans." Seth declared.

"If you don't want to play then...you can simply give up your life (laughs intensely)." Seth stated.

He might look like a human but his laugh gave us chills down our spine.

We were hearing everything; still we kept on running until we reached a place to hide. People were running everywhere, so we took a shortcut. Ron takes Max on his shoulder so we can reach faster.

Suddenly Seth said. "There are a few rules but...you know the most important rule is to SURVIVE!!!"

I know this must have felt like too much burden too many things to understand then let me clarify.

The Supreme being named Seth wants us to play his survival game even if we were not ready for this and he stated a few rules for this game of his. Let me explain further.

Rule 1: Survive till the very end by any means possible or else you might lose your life for it.

Which was a genuine point for this survival one mistake could lead us to our death as 10,000 people are trying to survive and us humans can go on any heights and can fall to any depth to survive.

Rule 2: You need to survive and reach the place called the 'Raven's Point' and only the top 100 survivors will be saved and the rest will be...ELIMINATED.

We suddenly stopped running when we heard Raven's Point.

"Huh Raven's Point, that's the place we were planning to go." said Ron.

"Yeah, so there is now one more reason to survive this mess." Davis replied to Ron.

I tried to cheer us up even though I was not sure how we would do this but I knew that it would increase our morale a bit.

"Rule 3: You can try to reach Raven's Point only when there are 300 people left. Till then you have to survive or else you can kill each other to decrease your numbers and increase your survival chances." said Seth.

For understanding let me tell you that the population on this island is around 10,000 people from which only 100 will get the chance to live till the end.

After this third rule the people will turn against each other. We don't know who will stab us from behind our back but we three did not listen to that and finally reached our college.

There were frightened students everywhere and there so we decided to hide in the back compartment where the least people go.

Some were cursing Seth, some were praying, some were just hidden in the corner and waiting for a miracle to happen.

As we were still settling from what had just happened he further stated.

"I will drop 5 of my monsters to begin with, to make things a little more interesting." Seth said.

This was like a fear among the fears. We could see them dropping down. There were 4 blob monsters which could be described as a liquefied humanoid something you might have seen in Terminator 2 and the other one like their boss was like a Dragonoid means Dragon+Humanoid.

Till this I was still able to grasp the situation but the next line that being said did not come to mind in any worst case scenario.

With already these many odds against us he stated 2 important things 1 good and 1 bad.

The good thing was that, Seth has dropped 10 magic relics on this island, with each having their own magical power. So, if we find them our chances of survival will boost drastically.

It was a great opportunity but also a risk that some might trap us with that. This good part was having some downfalls too but the next line he said goes out of our imagination.

The bad thing or I could say the worst thing of all was that, "If anyone dies by the hands of the monsters then they will be into into one of these two monsters. How amusing" said Seth.

Which means as the number of people decreases the number of monsters increases and harder the survival becomes.

By doing some calculations we found out that at the end when the last 300 survivors will be remained they need to reach the Raven's Point surrounded by thousands of these monsters.

That makes it near to impossible or impossible thing for us but the most amusing sight to watch people die and suffer for that being.

Seth sets on a huge hologram like screen to show us the live count of the Monsters and Humans alive to keep track of the dead and alive.

We were like rats hidden in the corner compared to others. Max suddenly said.

"Someone will come to save us, right?"

I said with a heavy heart. "No, we need to survive on our own for this."

"But...we will do it together as planned." Davis said to both.

"Yeah!!!" both cheered with Davis.

With that being said we shut ourselves self for 3 days in our college compartment and we still were figuring out what to do after this.
