The death of the evil being

Rebus sat by the bed waiting for her to awaken. Nyx accompanied him alongside with her human lover Axel. 

"How is she now?" Axel worriedly glanced at the pale faced Ambai.

Nyx nudged him and shook her head.

Rebus glanced at him with a loud sigh. "It's been an hour; she is yet to wake up. We will know what the situation is only after she wakes up. Her soul is already awakened, but I don't know how she is going to fight against that evil thing on her own," he worriedly touched her cheeks.

Ambai shook her head slightly.

"She is waking up!"

They all stood up, keenly looking at Ambai.

Like sleeping beauty, she slowly blinked her eyes open.

"Ambai..." Rebus expectancy peered at her.

Ambai looked at him with a small smile. "Sucker, did you think I will let her get control?"

Rebus stepped back, panting softly. "Why isn't she here? Why isn't she awakened yet? I made sure to do what you asked me to," he glanced at Nyx.
