Reviews of Death Game Dating System

Shameless author here. I'll definitely give my own book a 5 stars, but I won't think that you'll all do the same, so normally this is where I would try to convince you that it is good, but I won't do that. It's good, give it a try, you won't regret it.

For one, this isn't actually a romance novel. Instead this novel is completely serious mystery-thriller/horror genre. Which is brilliant really. Doubly so when the system's main function is one of those revive systems (loading into previous save point.) However the characterisation of the protagonist is unreasonable. So unreasonable that it's just down-right annoying. The author has the protagonist become better (in mental capacity, critical thinking, and power) by 1% every time he dies. So even after 8 deaths the protagonist doesn't really change much. Sure the author describes that he has changed (using terms like mental plasticity), but in reality? He doesn't. Worse, the improvements are maybe evident for one chapter, with the protagonist himself bashing his own naivety, and then...? He regresses into an idiot again. He repeats the same mistakes. He plays the hero to the same consequences. This protagonist is a marvel of poor characterisation.

Don't stop writing, you can do it. Don't stop expressing, or you'll dull the skill. Don't stop improving, writer fever makes us ill. Don't stop having fun, story must be told and seen.

I would think this was based off a manga if I didn’t know this was a webnovel. Loved this, I had a slight problem of reading it though. This whole story so far is very and I mean heavily inspired, that I thought it was a webnovel that it got adapted too if I was none the wiser. The manga I am talking about is Is My Reality a Love Game??

can someone tell me who's the artist for the cover/thumbnail? I'm annoyed that so many of these authors use other's artwork yet they don't credit the artist.
