Death by Desire: A Vampire-Lycan Love Story

Cora is unique among the vampires in Gray Vale. She is half fae. She has a beating heart. And she can bring life to the vampires around her, allowing them the ability to die when they desire it rather than being cursed with the same dreadful existence for eternity. Cora’s gift makes available this “death by desire” that is prized in the vampire world. Offering life to vampires is a beautiful gift, but it can also be used as a weapon. And that is what the royal family of vampires wishes to do. With no other choice, she must marry into the royal family for protection from those who are threatened by her ability. But when a “pet” lycan is gifted to her who is her true mate, will she find a way to break off the engagement, threatening her family and everyone else she loves in the process? Can her mate's lycan pack possibly win against the vampires who do not want to part with her? Or will they be forced apart? Published exclusively on Webnovel. Returning

It had been three nights and Theo still had not emerged from the tree.

David was beside himself. He had spent that time pacing, worrying, unsure about what to do and how to help his best friend and their future Alpha.

He was tempted to go into the portal to scout the place out. It took everything in him not to do it. If he did, he might make things worse for Theo—assuming he was still alive to make things worse for. Theo was already in this mess because of Gia. David didn't want to add to it and create another scenario in which Theo had to save one of them.

And if David didn't return back home, he knew Gia wouldn't be able to keep her mouth shut. Should she keep her mouth shut? Was it truly the best thing—to keep something so big from their pack and from Graeme and August? He wasn't sure what the answer was. But if they were meant to continue keeping this a secret, he would need to return to convince Gia that it was, in fact, the right thing to do.
