"Are you ready?" Theo breathed the question. He was suspended over her and feeling the urge to mark her again—to sink his teeth into her neck as he claimed her from below as well. Perhaps he was meant to.
"Yes." It was merely a whisper—a quiver of her lips.
"Can I…" he licked his own lips, hesitating. She said that he could taste her—that he could have her. But he told her that he would not break the skin.
