The girls shouted in unison as they ran towards me. To be honest, I wasn't that far away, maybe just a few steps ahead? In fact, I was a bit surprised to realize I had moved forward. Honestly, I hadn't noticed it before, and if I was going to move at all, I imagined it would be backward, not forward.

"Noah, are you okay? There was so much fire coming off of you that I thought you were going to burn to death"

Lost in my own thoughts, Ellen was the first to reach me. Seriously, why does she always imagine my death in such horrific ways? Sometimes, I really questioned Ellen's mind. Somehow, she seemed a bit dark at times—or maybe it was just her thoughts? Honestly, I had no idea.
