CHAPTER EIGHT: UNEXPECTED MODELS
Brrring! Brrring! Brrring!
The shrill ringing of her phone forced its sound through Riona's groggy haze, jolting her awake from her slumber. The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, revealing her messy room with clothes and shoes littered everywhere.
Rubbing her eyes, Riona fumbled for her phone, answering with a faint,
"Hello?"
On the other end, Lydia's cheerful voice greeted her,
"Hey Riona, remember we're going shopping today with Tryton, to get him a new phone!"
Confusion clouded Riona's mind as she tried to recall the details of their planned shopping. Then, like a spark of realization, it hit her, Lydia's words jogged her memory.
" yeah! yeah! I am up. See you in a bit"
Rolling off her bed with a slight headache from last night, Riona quickly had her bath, dressed up and made her way to meet Lydia at the hospital's entrance where they could pick up Tryton. She was feeling sober from last night's drinking, and her head was banging, but she made it to Lydia regardless, along the way she got coffee.
While they waited at the entrance, Tryton came out of the hospital and joined in on them, his eyes met with Riona's, and he couldn't help but remember last night's experience, but it seemed Riona could not remember what had happened between them, so she carelessly diverted her gaze from Tryton.
" Hello! Tryton, Good morning" Lydia said,
" Hello! Lydia, thank you for coming out for me today" Tryton responded with a straight face.
" Oh! It's okay" Lydia said
Riona's face was turned the opposite way trying to prevent looking at Tryton,
" Hello! Riona" Tryton's deep voice echoed in her ears
"Oh! hey," she responded,
" Let's go," Lydia said.
And they hurriedly left the entrance of the hospital.
As they walked through the bustling streets, surrounded by the vibrant energy of the city, Tryton was admired by a lot of ladies and they all murmured about how handsome he was, Riona on the other hand murmured to herself,
" He isn't that handsome, what do they see in him"
While Tryton got all the attention of the public, Riona remembered she had not thanked Lydia for bringing her home last night. She went closer to Lydia and whispered,
" Thank you,"
Lydia's eyes lit up with confusion,
" What are you thanking me for?" Lydia asked,
" Aren't you the one that took me home last night?" Riona responded,
" Oh! That, I didn't, Tryton did" Lydia said,
Immediately Lydia mentioned Tryton's name, it came like a wave of shock to Riona, who couldn't help it, stood still for a while lost in her thoughts, Lydia's voice reached her again,
" You should thank him, not me"
After Lydia said that, she branched a coffee shop to get coffee
" Do you want coffee? Tryton"
Tryton nodded, accepting her kind gesture, he had never tasted coffee,
"What about you, Riona?" Lydia asked,
" Nah! I'm good" Riona responded
So Lydia left them to go get the coffee for her and Tryton.
After Lydia left, Riona used that opportunity to talk to Tryton,
" Thank you for taking me home yesterday. I must have disturbed you" Riona said,
Tryton turned his head and looked straight into her eyes,
" You are welcome, it was nothing" he responded,
He did not attempt to make her remember last night and how they kissed, but while she looked straight into his eyes again, this time around in her right senses,
" He has such beautiful eyes, '' she thought to herself.
Immediately Lydia interrupted them,
" Here is your coffee, Tryton" Lydia's voice rang out.
Riona gave way for Lydia to hand over the coffee, and then she shook her head,
" What was I thinking?" she thought to herself again.

As Riona, Tryton, and Lydia entered the mall, the air was filled with anticipation. People scurried about, their eyes hungrily scanning various displays of products lining the hallways.
Tryton's striking presence turned heads wherever he went, drawing admiring glances from every lady in sight. His chiseled features and captivating aura made him the embodiment of perfection. Riona couldn't help but feel awkward standing by his side, because she was in the spotlight. Lydia on the other hand enjoyed the attention and smiled all the way through.
While they walked through the halls of the mall, unknowingly to them, a prominent modeling brand had planned a grand session at the mall. But fortunately, unforeseen circumstances had prevented their models from arriving. The director's frustration grew, as he anxiously paced back and forth, desperately thinking of ideas to salvage the situation.
Just at that moment, his eyes fell upon Tryton and Riona, their beauty captivating him instantly. An idea sparked within him,
"Why not approach these stunning individuals and propose they step into the limelight as models?"
After all, their enchanting presence would surely captivate any audience.
The director's heart was pounding with excitement, he swiftly approached the trio, his eyes gleaming with the hope of them accepting his proposal. He introduced himself and explained the predicament, his words flowing seamlessly non-stop, that was kind of his charm. He offered them an opportunity to model for the brand, assuring them that their service would be handsomely rewarded.
Tryton was not buying the idea, but curiosity showed in Riona's eyes as she glanced at Tryton, she was silently contemplating doing it, this was an unexpected turn of events. Tryton saw Riona's eyes for a little while he complimented her beauty in his thoughts, and with a straight face he agreed to do it besides, he did not have the money to pay for the phone, because he was planning on compelling the seller to give him the phone for free, but this saves him the trouble of using his power in front of Riona and Lydia.
A simple nod of acceptance from Tryton, and the director's face lit up, his stress transforming into excitement. He guided them to a secluded area where the activity was to take place.
Clothing racks filled with so many dresses and male wear lined the walls, each clothing was a work of art, waiting to be worn across their bodies. Talented makeup artists and hairstylists paraded around them, enhancing their natural beauty.
The director saw his new models transform in front of his eye, and with excitement, he shouted,
"Magnifico!!"
