"What do you think you are doing?" Evangeline looked into Alexander's eyes, and Alexander smirked before grabbing her jaws.
"You really confuse me, Evangeline. You say you have no wrong intentions with my brother, yet I see you here dining with him alone when you throw such a tantrum about dining with me. If you are so clean, why didn't you dine with the rest of the group?" Alexander asked, his fingers inching closer to her face, forcing her head up as he forced her to look into his eyes.
"I don't do group dinners. I am not that comfortable around everyone yet. Besides, your brother decided to bring me here. I don't see you barking at your brother about it. Why is it that no matter what happens, I am the one at fault?" Evangeline asked, her eyes sharp.
Rather than distancing herself from him, she snuck her hand around his waist, inside his coat and pulled him closer.
