Evgeni lay on the ground with his eyes open. Lobelia lay beside him, unconscious with her blighted wings. The blight had started reaching her face and her contract mark on her arm /"Lobelia,/" Evgeni called out but she didn't reply. He touched her face and the blight reached his arm.
/"Evgeni,/" He heard someone call his name. He looked up and saw a tombstone. It was where Aleksei had buried the ashes of Laura. He stared at it for a while and closed his eyes. He heard the voices of a wagon and slowly an image formed in his head. He sat with two people inside a wagon.
/"Feline, can we go faster?/" It was Laura. She had platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. Evgeni sat beside her and his father sat before them on another seat. He had his necklace around his neck. They were hurrying somewhere in a blizzard. It was cold and dark.
