"How did you get in?" I still questioned but with caution because I knew any sudden plock, and I might release the beast.

"The door was unlocked," he explained and I recalled that was exactly what happened last time but still, it was unusual and odd because I was very certain I had locked my door before leaving, what could possibly be going on...

His eyes darted to my clothes and I could tell when he had registered I was still wearing the previous day's attire.

"I see you had spent the night warming another's bed," Bankole mocked but I kept silent, feeling as though I had been put in an awkward spot.
