"What if I want this to be real?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Little Dove I love you so but I know you have to go. You Should Be Ashamed

If not for the fact that Zane quickly ascertained that the voice belonged to a woman, he might have actually hurt the other for grabbing him. It did not belong to just any woman either. He did not have to see the face to know that Rose would be found on the other end of the hand. For a small woman, her grip turned out to be unexpectedly strong.

"Hello, little flower. How nice to get the chance to meet with you again so soon." Zane kept his cool despite the awkward position the arm grab put him in. Juliet obviously less thrilled than him chose to remain still. Even her breathing though still rapid became more shallow in an attempt to decrease anything potentially threatening. Did he scare her to such a point that she feared his next action?

"I don't share the same pleasure as you in this reunion. I recommend that you leave the woman alone and let her leave before I call the police." Did the little flower not realize the predicament of the young mafioso before she spoke?

"She's not a captive. Even if she was, it isn't like I could let her go considering the current situation I find myself in." His hand could easily have been free with a small amount of effort. But again, hurting a woman never became a goal unless absolutely necessary.

"I am only holding your hand, not doing anything to block her from leaving. As for your captive comment, according to Title 18 U.S.C 1201, you're very much mistaken. You're free to leave miss, he won't do anything to you so long as I'm here." Juliet looked between Rose and Zane, unsure of what to do.

"I already told you that she's not a captive. She came into the car willingly. You interrupted me letting her back out after we failed to make a deal." Zane pulled his hand back in an attempt to reclaim it.

"Thus, it really isn't anything that you need to be involved with. You can take the woman if you want or if she desires to leave. We have nothing further to discuss. I would very prefer though if you would first give me my hand back." Though the grip on his hand felt like barely anything, being stuck in the awkward half leaning across and half draping across the car seats could be called anything but comfortable.

Zane almost spoke again when Rose's pause in action took longer than he appreciated. When she did act, it only went so far as to release his hand but not move away from the car. The young mafioso silently cursed his driver for not stepping in to do anything. The car was parked which left no real reason why Clive couldn't have intervened.

Even after Rose released his hand and Zane shifted back into his own seat, Juliet still refused to move. Wanting to prove his point, the young mafioso chose to get out the other side of the car rather than engage with the woman again.

"I keep telling you little flower, I am not keeping her here against her will. The original goal of this meeting might have changed but Juliet is certainly not being kept against her will." Zane stopped before fully coming around the front of the car. He didn't anticipate the look that Rose gave him. The young mafioso received a lot of harsh and hateful looks in his life but never one such as Rose currently sported. He never before thought a woman would have been capable of such a thing.

"It seems that you are choosing to misdirect your anger at me over something you don't understand."

"I think that I quite clearly understand the situation that is taking place here and I don't approve of it one bit. You should be ashamed of yourself over what you were doing." A knife could've easily cut the tension behind each word.

"Even if you don't think I do or believe that this is something, I shouldn't involve myself, I refuse to sit by and do nothing." Since Zane stepped out of the car, more people were starting to pay attention to what was going on. No one would willingly involve themselves in the situation but Zane didn't appreciate the attention.

"Why don't you just take the woman with you then? I already told you that I stopped here to let her out. I'm done with her since she doesn't seem interested in being straight with me. So by all means, you can take her with you if she's willing to leave. One less thing for me to worry about." Rose's expression remained the same but her gaze shifted to Juliet.

"Don't you have something to say for yourself? You can speak up for yourself." The gentle verbal nudge did little to get the other woman to react.

"Look, if you don't end up getting her out, I am going to have to kick her out myself. So Little Flower if you're going to be some kind of justice avenger, at least make it work." Upon hearing his tone of voice, Rose turned her attention to him once more with a glare even harsher than the last.

"You will stop addressing me that way and use my name. Also, you may not realize it but the way you're acting is not making the situation any better. Not to mention suddenly acting as though you're switching sides doesn't make you any more believable." Zane hid his thinning patience behind a forced laugh. He intended to get a chance to meet with Rose again though not in a situation such as the one before them.

"Whether or not my behavior, personality, or actions are causing her discomfort is hardly of any concern to me. My time has already been wasted plenty enough by her that I no longer care what she feels. So again I say that if you're going to go through with this whole justice act you quickly and quietly get her to come with you before I start counting again." If Rose could manage, he would just have to remove Juliet himself. No two ways about it. The woman inside his car could change her mind at any time. The window for doing that grew thinner with each second.

Zane's goal missed the mark however and he barely managed to catch Rose's hand before it made contact with his face. The young mafioso's anticipation of her reaction was off. If he had been two seconds slower, she might've actually succeeded. Quite quickly, he mentally retracted that statement over the fiery woman's next action.
