Chapter 22: Nanny Feng is really strong

They were halfway towards the garden's safe room when they got attacked by other men.

"What is going on here? Why so many people?" Ivy shrieked with fear as the sight of the men with different weapons terrified her.

She looked at Nanny Feng, who she assumed to be a defenceless old lady, but to her greatest surprise, Nanny Feng made a fast move and kicked the guy with the knife and then the other two with guns.

"Nanny Feng?" Ivy couldn't believe her eyes and wondered if this was a dream or reality but with the cut on her face, she was sure it was reality.

"I may look weak on the outside but my bones are still as strong as you young ones, even stronger." She chuckled and saw Ivy's puzzled face. "All of this will make sense later, dear. For now, you need to get to safety."

Ivy felt numb. Not able to think straight of what was going on. She followed Nanny Feng to wherever she was being led to and they eventually got to the safe room and Nanny Feng walked her in.
