PERFECT EVENING : THIS TIME IT'S TRUE

" Can I have a talk with you?" I asked turning to him.

He walked to the room and I followed him upstairs. He got in first leading the way and closed the door after I got in.

" I am so sorry for all the trouble that you had to go through because of me." I apologized.

" It's ok."

" Why don't we have our 'perfect evening' here? As long as we are together, the place doesn't matter right?"

He nodded his head with a blushing smile.

" What are you smiling at?" I asked as I laughed.

"Nothing" He responded still not letting his smile leave.

He walked to his music system and switched it on. Electronic fault noises came out of the tape reader.

" Oops, that didn't go well." He said as his music player didn't work as he expected.

The weird electronic sounds from the player started to reduce itself and a song started playing.

" You know this song?" He asked me.

" A thousand years , right?"

He smiled and walked forward to me and slowly held my hands and interlocked my fingers with his.

He started to slow dance with me gently. Oh I am so in love with him. He looked at me and shook his head gently telling me to sing along with the song.

" I have died every day waiting for you. Darling don't be afraid. I have loved you for a thousand years." I sang along with the melody.

" I'll love you for thousand more"

He hummed along with me with his legs gently moving, his hands locking mine, his eyes closed and his lips kissing mine.
