Archive I: About Lord Dominion's System (The Gods and Status Points)

(5) talks about the god that favors the analyzed subject. When a god favors someone or something, they will bless them with the stat they resonate with. The amount of stat the gods give depends on the rarity of the object.

If the rarity is...

Common, the gods will give +10 stat.

Uncommon, the gods will give +20 stat.

Rare, the gods will give +30 stat.

Legendary, the gods will give +40 stat.

Mystical, the gods will give +50 stat.

Unbreakable, the gods will give +60 stat.

Entities and Animals will always receive +70 stat from the god that they answer to.

There are only two exceptions to this rule.

Lady Principality gives a flat +80 Wisdom on all she favors.

Lord Dominion gives a flat +100 Charm on everything.

However, before we can talk more about what each god gives, we should first discuss status points.

Thanks to our lesson about durability, we already discussed a bit about status points, but let's talk about it now in full detail.

Status points are characteristics given by Lord Dominion and the five heathen gods that define those who live in Firmament and Dead Gardens. They are Strength, Vitality, Intelligence, Dexterity, Wisdom, and Charm.

Strength talks about the amount of physical damage dealt.

Vitality concerns about health.

Intelligence determines how much damage a Projectile spell would deal. (We will talk about the other perks of Intelligence once we reach our lesson about mana and spells.)

Dexterity deals with efficiency in handling pieces of equipment and speed.

Wisdom affects how long a person can hold a spell.

Charm... is special. A higher Charm status will increase a person's attractiveness, charisma, and interpersonal influence, but that can both be a perk or a curse. We will have a more in-depth discussion about Charm in the future.

We discussed earlier that gods give a bit of their essence to those they favor, and the (5) sub-classification shows this. Let's talk about which god gives which status point.

Power: Strength

Throne: Vitality

Virtue: Intelligence

Seraphim: Dexterity

Lady Principality: Wisdom

Lord Dominion: Charm

Let's use our narra once again as an example:

|Name: Narra

|Classification: (1) Natural Resource, (2) Alive [VS], (3) Raw Material, (5) Seraphim

|Status:

|STR: 8

|VIT: 12

|DEX: 10

As you can see, the disgusting heathen god Seraphim favors the narra tree. Since the narra is only a Common raw material, Seraphim only gives +10 Dexterity to it.

Let it be known that everything that ever exists and will exist has a base 100 Charm stat. This is the gift of Lord Dominion to all of us. As such, the System will not show a person's Charm stat if they have the default 100.

And that concludes our lesson about Lord Dominion's System.

Any questions?
