As Malvin and I rushed to class ,we saw almost every student quickly going into their classes too.

The most popular rule at Lexton Senior high was that every student should be in class five minutes later after the break over siren blew, and punishment was to fill 1 bucket with stones.

The main problem was that the whole school campus is partly made up of Concrete floors & grass , stones were rare on campus, so just imagine filling up a bucket , impossible task.

As I got to class, I noticed a girl sitting on my desk, she looked like a senior student, probably in form 3.

I didn't know what to do, but I had to take my seat before our next lesson teacher comes in.

I politely said" hello dear, you are sitting on my desk" .

"Did I hear you say the word "dear"?, you think am you co equal err?" The senior girl asked angryliy.

"Am sorry, I don't your name,that's why I said the word "dear" " I apologized.

" No I won't take that as an excuse, follow me!" The senior girl said as she stood up and walking out of the class.

I was dumbfounded, "what did I do wrong" I asked myself.

I obeyed and followed her

She stopped Infront a form 3 class ,turned and looked at me.

"My name is Rena Mills and this is my class, tomorrow come here for your punishment,do you hear me ?" The senior girl said with all seriousness.

"Sister Rena , am very sorry for what I did earlier, please forgive me " I said sincerely even though I believed I did no wrong.

She looked at me for a while and asked "Do you have a school mother?"

"No please" I simply answered.

"Alright ,I will let you off the hook because I like people who admit their mistakes, but still come here tomorrow before the games start" she said now in a calm expression.

Yeah it was because of tomorrow's sports event that why I had apologized, I couldn't miss it, but I couldn't tell her that.

"Thank you Sister Rena" I said.

"Okay you can go" Rena permitted.

I calmly walked away but as I went far ,I sped up to reach class before any unforgiving senior sees me outside while lesson has begun.

As I re-entered the classroom, Malvin stood up to meet me.

As he came closer, he asked" what happened bro?, Did you get into an trouble?" .

"No I don't think so, To begin with, I don't know what I did wrong" I answered.

"Mr.Augustine came here looking for the class prefect, but you weren't in class , were you?" I heard Percy say.

"No I wasn't in class, but what did he say" I asked

" he said we could close early today, and prepare for tomorrow's sporting activities which includes everybody with no exceptions" she said.

" Okay well,that's cool" I simply said.

"So in which game are you participating in?" Percy asked.

I felt werid that Percy was talking to me, she wasn't a mean girl ,but she had made it clear to me on our first day meeting each other that she was my competitor, which I cared less about .

"Erhm am thinking about it" I said.

"Hmm, Weak boy!" She said saucily

If her aim was to piss me off, then she nearly succeeded in doing so , but I kept my calm.

"What about you ?" I calmly asked her.

"Haha, just wait.., you will find out" Percy said with a suspicious smile and walked away to her place.

"Why did she ask you that?"  Malvin asked me with a whisper.

"I don't know bro, but I need to be careful, I think she got some tricks up her sleeves" I said with a serious look.

"Okay , let's get ready to go home, I can't wait to meet Aunt Lawrence" Malvin said

I walked to my place to pick my stuff ,when I saw a paper placed in my note book, it read:

Mills.

Jayden,I invite you to my house party this Saturday, don't miss it.

"How did she know my name?, I don't remember telling her my name." I whispered silently to myself
