61 Chapter 61 El Gusano Gigante
POV 3rd Person
Location: Tokyo, Containment site Hannah
Chen: "You said you wanted an update on the situation, the situation is we can not contain the Titans"
Sam: "We can't contain the Titans for long periods of time" Sam quickly took over the conversation, "at least the ones that are still asleep but the ones that are awake are proving to be difficult to deal with."
Chen turned on the screen in the room showing multiple video footage one was a video of Chines navy ships attacking what looked like an Eastern Dragon it coiled around a ship crushing it until it exploded and the creature quickly made its way to the next.
The next footage was a large group of Russian soldiers in a large cavern when suddenly the headlights from all the men look up I. the ceiling of the cave a giant 45-meter spider with blue eyes that shift to red looking down at them then the video suddenly stops.
This video from outside of a mineshaft showed a normal workday then the ground began to shake miners from the shaft began to run in multiple directions then the ground explodes, and a large reptile-like creature emerged with a single horn on the front of its head with large ears. as the miners flee men in a mounted truck come into view firing on the creature men dismount only for them to be incinerated as the creature opens its mouth unleashing red flames.
Reed: "My God" he was in utter disbelief three more active Titans how could that be Quetzalcoatl and Zilla we're the only ones he had heard about.
Fury: "The dates on these videos were only a few days after the battle in Mexico" Reed looked at the time on the videos and Fury was right they looked to the three for an explanation.
Serizawa: "Our best working theory is a sort of domino effect we don't know what started it or when it started but after the appearance of Zilla Titans have been appearing more frequently after the battle in Mexico three more become active in a matter of days."
Chen: "And with the possibility that countries may try and hide, kill or like how your American government like to say 'put a leash on the beasts' then the number could be even higher than that." there was silence as some of the ramifications of what needed to be done and what could be done fell on everyone in the room then suddenly the door to the room burst opened an older man with glasses and a white hair stood there panting.
???: "Serizawa. . .New. . .Appeared. . .Call. . .!" that was all Serizawa need as he was off followed by the others to the communication relay, "I'll be there. . .just give me. . ."
As the group entered the station one thing was clear panic but as soon as the director entered all-action slowed down awaiting orders, and the main screen came to life showing a man clearly on a boat not far from shore.
Nick: "This is Dr. Niko Tatopoulos requesting to speak with Dr. Serizawa immediately this is an emergency!"
Serizawa: "I'm here Dr. Tatopoulos Nick what is the emergency" the doctor tried to keep a calm demeanor for everyone in the room especially his colleague on screen.
Nick: "The leads were correct Serizawa another Titan has awakened in Costa Rica" this news stopped everyone in their tracks and all had the same thought 'how the fuck.'
Serizawa: "Nick where is the Titan now do you have contact with the nearby military!" they needed to stop the military from provoking the creature but the look on Nick's face told them what they already knew.
Nick: "It was the military that covered up its existence in the first place and now there paying for it," the camera shifted now showing what was happening on the beachside cliff a large contingent of tanks, armored vehicles, and soldiers firing at what looked like a giant nightmare worm and the worst thing about it was its size it was by far the largest Titan found so far.

And what was clear was it was doing nothing to the worm as it continued to charge after the military with even greater ferocity, tanks and vehicles got stuck and we were quickly abandoned a crushed or ripped to shreds by the creature.
Sam: "Sir this is being broadcast and it's everywhere" handing Serizawa a tablet that showed live coverage and it was everywhere from New York times, the BBC, Moscow, and Tokyo, the world is watching.
Fury: "I'm going to make some calls" the once cold face of the man now only showed his name as he pulled out a communicator.
???: "Nick The signal is ready!" a woman with a French accent yelled loud enough to be heard by those on the communication relay some didn't seem to register what was said others gain looks of curiosity but Serizawa's team took a glance at the man as he was about to say something.
ROOOOOOOARRRRRRR!!!!!
Reed: "You made a signal for it" his words filled with curiosity and critics as they cut through the silence that build the room after the familiar roar of Zilla filled the air then the signal of the call cut.
POV 3rd Person
Location: Costa Rica
As the Roar echoed the large worm stopped and looked around for the source its many eyes landing on the boat it reared back and roared in challenge distracted from the fleeing military.
Nick: "Damn it the signal cut out" Nick smashed his hands on the computer but to no avail.
Randy: "Ah guys I think we attracted the wrong kind of attention" a young man named Randy Hernandez with a black hair blue jacket and a white shirt stood at the main window watching the creature.
Nick: "Any sign of Zilla?" he walked to the window looking at the open ocean.
Mendel: "Not yet besides how do we even know he'll even respond" a large man named Mendel Craven had dirty blond hair and a goatee and was wearing a lab coat sat at the radar station.
Elsie: "And how do we even know he won't just destroy the source of the signal that source being us" the woman named Elsie Chapman had long red hair and wearing a green shirt standing next to Nick overlooking the situation with the gigantic worm.
Monique: "So far the creature has shown little hostility or interest in humanity and has yet to have attacked man as well," a woman named Monique Dupre wearing a black jacket with a purple shirt stood at the stirring wheel.
Randy: "And I thought you didn't like the big guy," he said smugly but only received a cold look in return.
Monique: "I don't we know little to nothing about him or any of the other creatures and like all of mankind I don't like what I don't understand." then a rhythmic ping began everyone turned to Craven who looked back to them with a worried face.
Mendel: "Radar just picked up something big and fast coming from the north if it's who we think he's 3 minutes away."
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Suddenly explosions came off the back of the worm it recoiled and Roared in rage then began looking for the source of the attack same as H.E.A.T who spotted the 5 artillery set up on a cliff by the second barrage of shells as did the worm and it was making it way over before it stopped and looked at the ocean.
*GRRRRRRRR*
Everyone turned to the water and saw the familiar spikes coming from. the water as they closer to the shore the rest of the body emerged from the ocean to reveal Zilla was here.
*ROOOOAAAAARRRR*
The spines on Zilla's back sparked, flashed, and brightened with energy his eyes glowed with green energy and he unleashed his Atomic fire, the green flames caused the worm to recoil and scream in pain.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
The sounds of artillery cut through the air as not just the worm but Zilla was hit by artillery fire as well causing him to stop his breath attack but he soon recovered and charged at the worm that was still recovering from both attacks.
Randy: "Hey watch where you're aiming those things he's friendly!"
Elsie: "Are they insane their weapons aren't doing anything to the titans their just going to get themselves killed by the winner!"
Nick: "Then we better stop them Randy Monique with me to the speed boat were going ashore."
POV 3rd Person
Location: ????
A man sat and watch the multiple screens some showed data and codes others showed current events while one in particular held the mans full attention the battle between the Titans intrigued the man to no end and all the possible secrets they held within then the door to the room opens at the same time all other screens turned off only leaving the one on.
???: "My supreme intelligence what is your command" the grunt in the typical yellow biosuit knelt down not dating to look up to the scientist supreme.
S.S: "Have we assessed the data on these Titans from this new Organization yet?"
???: "Yes your intelligence and as you suspected they have no way of containing these creatures" there was silence for a minute before anything else was spoken.
S.S: "Copy and everything they have on the Titan's locations, Biology, Theories, especially on this one," the other screens light up with the image of Zilla.
???: "At your command supreme intelligence"
