44 Chapter 44: Skullgirls Pt.2
~Third POV~
As Eliza and her goons were about to leave the area it was that moment that a sword was flown through the car's wheels catching them by surprise.
"Sheesh!"
"Pop!"
The goons soon barked out in surprise as they say in rage, "Oh what the fuck! That was my car who – "
That was when the both of them were quickly thrown through the building as Erza drop-kicked them in surprise as she holds her blades using her sacred gear [Sword Birth] floating in the air in combination with her [Telekinesis].
Cerebella clearly surprised by this action got angry as she yells at Erza while Eliza glances at Echidna coming towards their direction, "What the literal fuck redhead!! That was our ride and are those swords and armor?! What are you some kind of – "
That was as far as Cerebella could ask before Erza charged at her with all her blades coming towards her as Eliza avoided that fight and chose to fight against Echidna.
Cerebella defended herself using [Vice-Versa] the hat parasite to defend against the blades as it grew muscle defending its master.
Cerebella seeing this narrows her eyes as she rushes over to Erza as her fighting style is that of a grappler as she needs to grab Erza and was her win.
[Vice-Versa] uses its large muscle arms to attack Erza but she is more agile and faster than her that Erza avoided all of Cerebella attacks.
Erza glares at Cerebella for kidnapping someone as it brings her own personal feeling into as she was kidnapped herself once as she yells at her, "I see that you don't care who you kidnap so long as it's for your goals!!! In that case, I won't go easy on you… [Sword Birth: Excalibur]!"
Like that Erza took her fighting to the next level bring out her powerful sword creation [Sword Birth: Excalibur] to the field with its abilities of light generation/manipulation and fate probability into the mix.
As Cerebella didn't care she rushes in and goes for a kick as Erza stood there defiant as beneath her shoes lies a hidden blade!
As the attack was about to hit with the hidden blade Cerebella was confused as to why Erza didn't move but rather smirked at her, 'What? Why isn't this redhead moving around doesn't she know I'm aiming for her neck – '
But that was when the blade that was supposed to hit Erza neck was completely blocked by a red force field-like aura with her Guild Fairy Tail emblem on it surrounding her!
What Erza did was used her unlocked Semblance [Titania Grace] an ability that allows her to block any attack regardless of its element or physics being used it can be used to defend one attack completely or give it to another member once.
The downside of using her Semblance [Titania Grace] is that it requires a time limit after use to wait for 30 seconds to be reused again.
Erza looks at Cerebella with an annoyed expression as she says to her, "Hidden weapons? Truly a dirty move so let me show you a fair one, [Victorious Light]!"
As the hidden blade of Cerebella attack was blocked Erza used her sword of victory [Victorious Light] to attack as wings of light appeared from behind her back as the wings and blade used concentrated light attacks to slash down one Cerebella as she was quickly defeated without any chance to recover.
Meanwhile, Echidna finally reached over to Eliza as she walks towards her in an overconfident voice, "Well, well two interesting people showed up when I'm very bust today? Now, how about you and your friend back off if you know what is good for…"
However, that was when Eliza saw someone dear to her and stopped any form of emotions no ambition, no curiosity, no will…
It was as if Eliza was in her own little world without a care of the world paralyzed by love making her lose all her senses in the process.
Echidna didn't do anything but used the [Authority of Lust: Faceless Bride] to get the job done.
The [Authority of Lust: Faceless Bride] can captivate people, making them so absorbed in watching her that they forget how to breathe, lose all sense of awareness to the point they wouldn't notice if someone stabbed them or if they were burning and in the vast majority of cases, their heart stops beating which results in their death without them even being aware of it.
As Eliza stood there standing still, she died in the same place as she no longer had her heart beating again…
Seeing this Echidna goes over to her and taps her on the head to see she fell lifelessly on the floor as Echidna looks with a guaranteed expression, "Yup after confirming it with a single tap she is no longer alive if those eyes have anything to say… I can safely say she is long gone now."
With that the small skirmish came to abrupt Erza came over to Echidna as she did the same as they open up the back of the car revealing a tied up Ms. Fortune who notices them as she says to them in an embarrassed tone, "Well looks like you gals can do me a solid and get mewot of this predicament."
Echidna laughed at Ms. Fortune's jokes as Erza gave her a blank look as she replies to her, "Really cat puns…? Any case let's help you out of those vases?"
With that, they were done breaking her out of her bloody imprisonment as Ms. Fortune managed to reattach herself together quite literally since she has the [Life Gem] she ate as a kid with the Fishbone gang before she was brutally killed but survived.
As a feline feral, Ms. Fortune or Nadia Fortune is the last surviving member of the Fishbone Gang, a notorious band of otherwise Dagonian thieves.
Their last mission ended in tragedy: a failed attempt to steal the mysterious Life Gem from Lorenzo Medici resulted in their brutal murders.
Before meeting her own doom, Ms. Fortune swallowed the Life Gem and managed to digest it along with the Gem's power immortalized her entire body, making it truly undying even after being dismembered.
Nadia is a tan-skinned, lithe young woman with light blue eyes and white hair styled in a bob cut. Her Feral features include long dark cat ears, tail, clawed hands and feet, and a prominent canine that usually shows over her lower lip. She has a clean scar on her left cheek, while those on her neck, biceps, forearms, thighs, legs, and feet are larger and more jagged.
She wears a thick black collar with a stylized cat bell, a light blue striped crop top with the underside of her breasts showing, a gray utility belt, black fingerless gloves, black hot pants, and the remnants of her pants legs.
After she gets herself together she surprises Echidna and Erza by looking at how she was able to repair herself at a fast rate as Echidna noticed something off about her body, 'Her body looks to be butchered and destroyed all over her but yet she looks to be fine all the same and that… aura in her seems to make it possible what is this?'
Echidna curiosity getting the better of her she looks through her [Gospel of Wisdom] to search for her answer as Erza questions Ms. Fortune, "Hello Miss I'm glad that you're ok but how did you manage to get into that predicament in the first place with those two capturing you?"
Ms. Fortune looking over to Erza and Echidna smiles over the two for helping her out of a tight jam that could've seriously get her in trouble, "Alright thanks a lot you two! I really owe you one and the name is Ms. Fortune or Nadia Fortune since you saved mewot from serious trouble. But how I got into this trouble well let's just say that Medici trash was after something from me."
Erza was confused by the term Medici till Echidna explains to Erza what Nadia meant, "Medici is a crime family mafia that is the underbelly of New Meridian City for a long while now and this Kingdom. They have been the causes of false laws, human trafficking, murders, and much more under the shadows. This group certainty seems capable by themselves that is certain."
Erza was surprised to hear about this much about a crime family having this much control in this world but brushes it off as the both of them get hungry stomach growls making Nadia smirk at the scene.
Nadia seeing this reply to the both of them a great place to eat with a smirk on her face, "Hey since you two helped me out of a tight jam how about I show you somewhere where you can eat in a great place in Little Innsmouth I know of a restaurant my treat."
The two of them nodded their heads in agreement to have Nadia show them a way around this world so they followed her.
There was plenty of time for Erza and Echidna to search for the skull heart after a good meal after all they are still new to this world might as well enjoy there time here.
