Chapter 12

Kai seized the opportunity, transitioning into a Slip to avoid Max's next punch, a quick Jab. He countered with a rapid combination—a Triple Jab followed by a Hook to Uppercut, his movements fluid and precise.

Max's guard crumbled under the onslaught, and he staggered back, his expression a mix of surprise and frustration. Kai's gaze never left Max's movements, his focus unwavering.

As Max attempted to regain his footing, Kai executed a Step Around, circling his opponent strategically. "You're fast," Max grunted, his confidence showing signs of cracking.

"Thanks," Kai responded with a grin. "But let's see if you can keep up."

Max charged forward, his frustration fueling his aggression. He aimed a Body Shot at Kai's ribs, but Kai anticipated the move and blocked with a Check Hook, deflecting the blow.

Max's frustration turned to anger, his movements becoming more reckless. Kai seized the opportunity, performing a Shuffle and Pivot, quickly creating an angle that allowed him to land a powerful Cross on Max's jaw.

The crowd roared as Max stumbled back, his legs wobbling. The announcer's voice cut through the noise. "Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that Kai s is in complete control of this match!"

Kai's smile was calm and composed as he regarded Max. "You see, Max, I'm not just relaxed—I know your pattern."

Max's face contorted with rage, and he lunged at Kai with a wild Overhand Right. Kai's defensive instincts kicked in, and he blocked the punch with a Block before countering with a devastating Shovel Hook.

The punch landed squarely on Max's chin, and his eyes rolled back as his body collapsed to the canvas. The crowd's roar was deafening as the referee began the count.

"One... Two..."

Max struggled to rise, his determination evident, but his body betrayed him. As the count reached ten, the arena erupted in cheers, a victory for Kai"

Inside the gritty underground arena, the atmosphere was thick with tension and anticipation. The crowd, a mix of die-hard fight enthusiasts and those seeking a thrill, roared in excitement as the announcer's voice echoed through the dimly lit space.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the ring for another heart-pounding match! In the blue corner, we have a fighter who's taken the underground scene by storm—a true super rookie with lightning-fast reflexes and a fierce determination. Let's give it up for Kai Williams!"

The crowd erupted in cheers as Kai stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the opponent before him. The opponent, a seasoned Muay Thai expert of Asian descent, stood tall and composed in the red corner. His reputation preceded him, making it clear that this fight wouldn't be a walk in the park.

"And in the red corner, a true veteran of the ring, known for his devastating kicks and unmatched experience—Liang 'The Thunder' Chen!"

As the bell rang, Kai and Liang met at the center of the ring, eyes locked in a silent challenge. The announcer's voice faded into the background as the world around them narrowed to this moment.

Kai's movements were deliberate and fluid as he started with a [Push Kick teep, aiming to create distance between him and his opponent. Liang's defense was solid, but Kai's strategy was clear—to test the waters and gauge his opponent's reactions.

Liang responded with a fierce [Low Kick], aiming to strike Kai's leg. Kai's quick reflexes kicked in, and he lifted his leg, performing a Check Leg Block, effectively blocking the kick.

The crowd's cheers intensified as they witnessed the clash of techniques. The announcer's voice cut through the noise. "Ladies and gentlemen, it seems we're in for a treat tonight! The super rookie is holding his own against the veteran Muay Thai expert!"

Kai's gaze remained focused, his mind calculating his next move. He feinted a Jab, baiting Liang into a defensive position. As Liang raised his arms to block the incoming punch, Kai swiftly transitioned into a Spinning Back Elbow, catching Liang off guard.

The impact of Kai's elbow striking Liang's side was met with gasps from the crowd. Liang's eyes blazed with a mix of surprise and irritation. "You think you can outclass me with flashy moves?" he spat.

Kai's lips curved into a smirk. "I'm just getting warmed up."

Liang's frustration fueled his aggression. He unleashed a barrage of Elbow Strike, aiming for Kai's head and body. Kai's defensive skills were put to the test as he skillfully blocked and evaded the strikes.

Kai's movements became more calculated, each technique executed with precision. He launched a Roundhouse Kick, targeting Liang's torso. Liang's experience was evident as he anticipated the move and dodged gracefully.

i have been busy, like really busy, to the point where i am lacking some stock in my chapters, and the reason for that, i cant help but create a new fanfic, but dont worry, i plan on finishing all of my fanfic, except for the young justice as a cultivator, fic, its just that i wasnt feeling it, i wasnt excited about it, but for the fans who like that fanfic, dont worry, i have another young justice fanfic, with a sorcerer system, and of course, the main love interest is zatanna. Did I mention that he is a failed clone of martial manhunter and wonder woman

here my other fanfic, which i would like your vote on:

-Random-Reincarnation-System: as you can guess from the name, it a fanfic, about a soul who gets reincarnated in different worlds, after each death, with the main goal of disturbing the timeline in that universe, earning essence and getting stronger(ps: this is for those wont like fanfic that follow the main timeline of a universe)

-MCU: Incarnation-System: its an mcu fanfic, not like my mcu fanfic, i dont know why i am including in this vote as i am releasing isnt it, but a vote would motivate me. the main premise of this fanfic, is for the mc to create his own organisation, meaning that i got plan the story, the timeline, and the directions of this fanfic, he possess a system which allows him to create an incarnation seed which blossoms into an incarnation, sort of like a clone, but he can pilot them, or they can act independent, the main or the mc's personal goal is to create a shadow organisation, like the eminence of shadows, but every step his organisation takes, changes the timeline, to the point where you wont notice its an mcu fanfic at the end.

Marvel: Time-Stop-Button: as you might have guessed from the name, its a fanfic about a guy with a button that stops time, but every time he stops time, he needs to complete a mission, which he then be rewarded, (ps: trust me, i created a trial fanfic where the mcu has a button which stops indefinitely, but by the first time he came out of the time stop period, he was hella strong, so there has to be some sort of restrictions)
