Abominable Union; Training with Death

"Are you okay?"

Samael asked the woman in his arms who had finally stopped crying a few moments ago.

"I-I'm so sorry!"

Raising her head and locking eyes with him, she instantly fell to her knees and began begging once more.

Samael raised a brow and stretched out his hand, grabbed her by the arm and lifted her off the ground.

"I asked if you were okay?"

He asked once more and sighed, watching her stunned expression that was staring endlessly at him.

"Yes, yes. I am. T-thank you my Lord."

She bowed in a stutter and turned around swiftly, wanting to quickly escape and calm her beating heart.

"Hold on."

However, Samael's words made her shiver, as she turned around timidly.

"Yes, my Lord?"

She bowed her head and spoke trying to hide the red tinge on her cheeks, and refused to watch his handsome face.

"Have you seen Alan lately?"

Samael asked and tilted his head to the left with a questitioning gaze.

"N-No my Lord. I have not. I was just about asking for his whereabouts from you."

She spoke honestly, and Samael nodded after a moment, after which she quickly turned around and tried to leave once more.

Samael unfurled his wings awkwardly and turned around, about to leave when an idea suddenly lit up in his mind — something that had been inspired by Alan himself.

"You."

He spoke, and Lilith halted and turned around timidly.

"Yes, my Lord?" She gently lowered her head.

"I don't have any responsibilities at the moment. Let's go sightseeing together, then."

Despite trying to speak as politely as he could, he sounded commanding.

"My Lord?"

Lilith raised her head and looked at him in confusion.

Samael subtly took a deep breath, and walked towards her, forcing the beautiful woman to take steps back, until she was backed up against a tree.

Standing merely inches away from each other, they couldn't keep their eyes of each other.

"I do not understand what you meant, my Lord."

Lilith gulped uncontrollably, staring at Samael's handsome face which was so close to her.

"Just come with me."

Samael grabbed her hand and walked a few meters forward, before he unfurled his wings.

He then pulled her close to him, such that their noses brushed against each other and their lips nearly touched.

"Trust me, and don't let go."

He spoke and slowly began levitating. Lilith on the other hand was speechless for a moment, as she glared into his golden eyes.

The next moment, his wings flapped once, and he soared into the sky, shattering th ground that they previously stood on.

As they soared higher and higher, both of them failed to notice a figure watching them with an angry and jealous frown, and tightly clenched fists.

.

"This is amazing!"

As they soared through the skies, Lilith screamed on top of her voice, flying alongside the birds of the air and frolicking on clouds. She was ecstatic and finally felt free to express herself just how she wanted, without being worried of any form of judgment.

Samael merely had a smile on his face, as he watched the joyful smile on her face. After soaring through the skies for a few minutes, he suddenly let himself go, descending with her in her arms onto an ocean nearby.

Just as they were about to plunge into the cold waters, his wings spread out, and they soared atop the blue waters.

Lilith who had her eyes closed in fear finally opened them and laughed, playfully splashing the water and watching the fishes in fascination.

After a moment, he soared once more and landed atop a mountain, freeing her from his embrace, as they gesturing to her to sit as they enjoyed the view from above.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

Samael asked, watching her fascinated expression with a smile.

"Of course. Anything that the creator makes is beautiful." She smiled in response, as he shook his head.

"The only thing, the creator made personally, is you and your husband. Apart from that, everything else was made by me and my brothers, especially me."

He smirked pridefully.

"Somehow, I don't doubt it." Lilith looked at him with a smile, as he looked back at her and then took his eyes off awkwardly.

"Thank you , Lord Samael. I really needed this. "

She spoke after a little bit of an awkward silence between both of them.

"Just Samael is fine, besides just wanted to cheer you up, you deserve it. It must be hard, having to stay with someone like him."

Samael answered while she looked down wanting to suppress the tears in her eyes.

Samael reached out to her, and embraced her, as she let out the tears she was holding back.

Somehow he understood and sympathised with her. In a way, they were alike. Having your entire life and your role decided and written out for you, without your consent, was the specialty of the creator after all.

As both of them separated from each other, their eyes couldn't leave one another. Like moths drawn to flame, they drew closer and closer to each other until their lips locked in a deep and passionate kiss, with the heavens above and earth below bearing witness to their union.

.

Meanwhile, while only few days had passed on earth, about a whole month had passed in the wasteland of death, which was now the venue for a battle between two overpowered forces of nature.

*BANG!*

A figure was hurled through the air at immense speeds and suddenly crashed into the ground, raising a large wave of dust, while a large crater formed.

"Cough!"

A the dust settled, a figure slowly arose to his feet while coughing blood with an annoyed expression. While his robes were completely safe from any form of damage, his white hair was dirty and messy.

'I haven't been able to land a blow on her since we started battling a month ago."

The figure, Alan sighed and looked into the distance, glaring at the beautiful figure that was seated on the back of a large beast constructed from pure death energy.

Around her were several enormous lifelike prehistoric beasts constructed from pure death energy. Their entire bodies were purely black as of made of metal and their eyes shone with malice.

Stretching out his hand, a golden light blasted through the skies at immense speeds and stopped a few inches before Alan's head. Readying himself, one man and one blade stood against countless prehistoric creatures made from death energy.

"Go!"

He instantly disappeared from where he stood, along with his blade, and reappeared before the first beast. With but a simple gesture, his blade swept out, dissecting and

cleaving through the body of the beast and turning it into cubes in a moment.

Raising his head, he noticed a rather large ape smashing its arms towards him. In a flash, he disappeared once more, as the massive beast smashed its large arms onto the ground and shattered it.

Reappearing behind it, he simply held out his fingers and summoned a tennis ball sized golden green energy orb.

"Big Bang!"

*BOOOM!*

The realm shook, as a wave of disintegration swept out destroying every single other beast in an instant, while simultaneously ripping through space.

"Impressive. Life energy is not known or suitable for combat, yet you seem to have found a way.."

Death laughed and raised her hand to the sky, and right in that moment, the sky darkened. A ginormous inky black clover materialised in the sky above her, overshadowing the entire realm.

"Why don't I show you a bit, let's see if you can adapt to this…"

The centre of the clover crackled with streaks of black lightning and right in that moment, a massive beam of death energy blasted right from the centre of the clover and descended towards Alan, creating a vacuum in space, as it ripped through dimensions.
