Pamela

Ivy was impressed by the man a lot.

She was intrigued by his identity and what he was capable of. After all, he felt like a mystery to her.

"It's cold." Jasper whispered, with his breath freezing as he spoke.

"It is," Ivy smiled, enjoying the night view.

It was cold and she wasn't dressed properly for the weather but she loved the weather.

It was chilly, fresh that toned down the ugliness of Gotham by an entire knob.

"You seem rather curious about me," Jasper mused as Ivy asked everything she could about him.

She turned her head around a little, a little embarrassed by her accidental display of interest.

Noticing this, Jasper gave her a mischievous smile, "Which I am definitely enjoying."

Ivy knew very well that Jasper was flirting with her and she enjoyed it just as much.

Most didn't do that because of her abilities, which scared them greatly.

"You don't seem scared of my powers?" She finally asked, wondering what gave him such confidence.

"Every beautiful woman has something that every man should be scared have, but that doesn't keep them from talking to those women… does it?" He asked, making her smile a little.

"I wouldn't compare the something I possess to those women," She said which made him chuckle.

"I guess, but then again I am not the average joe either," Jasper assured, "As you must have noticed."

"I have," She said, "But it makes me curious about your powers. What are they precisely?"

Jasper looked at her, "They are… a little complex to explain. Consider it to be similar to magic, you can do a lot of things but till what exact? Even you do not know."

The answer was vague, but it gave Ivy a hint that Jasper was strong. Stronger than most people she has met till now.

"What about you?" He asked, "I saw you sprouting a vine to apprehend Zsasz for a bit. I do know that you control plants, but how?"

She nodded, "Mine… is indeed related to flora. I can manipulate the plants, talk to them and control vegetation."

Not answering the 'how' part.

Jasper mused, "That is an extremely strong power."

She nodded, "It is," She agreed, "But it doesn't come without a cost."

"And what might that cost be?" Jasper asked, seemingly curious despite being aware of her truth.

"I cannot be close to anyone even if I want to," She sighed, "Being one with the plant life makes me repel humans."

"In what sense?" He asked at which she elaborated.

"In the sense that my entire body is basked in toxins, my blood, my saliva, my tears… everything is toxic to humans," She said, a bit sorrowful, "But well, I have learnt to live with the plants so it hardly matters."

However, Jasper was both curious and amused by a thought he had.

"It's one of the reasons I cannot have a decent relationship, or at least I cannot be physical with anyone," She sighed which made him wonder, truly wonder.

"If you were given the chance to turn your powers off temporarily, would you take it?" He asked, looking at her surprised face.

"Of course," She answered in a heartbeat, "I adore my powers because I can protect the plant life with it. However, I know it is taking a toll on me and I will do anything to be able to become normal at least for a little while."

"You can feel everything, enjoy everything like a normal human again," Jasper said, amusing her, "Sadly only for a while."

"What do you mean?" Ivy asked, not expecting much.

"What if I say, I can let you be normal for a while?" He asked which made her frown.

"Don't joke about it," She said, "It's not funny."

But he wasn't trying to be funny.

He extended his hand, "You just have to tell me if you want to get rid of your powers for a while."

She was confused, she wasn't sure what he was getting at. Her powers were bound to her, nothing that she tried had worked and she knew that nothing would work either.

"I do," She said, "But it is nothing more than a dream."

"That can be reality," Jasper gave her a comforting smile, "You just have to take this hand and say that you do not want your powers."

She truly believed that Jasper was trying to play with her and she didn't find it funny.

However, somewhere in her heart, she was so desperate for even a second of living a normal life that she placed her hand above his even without meaning to.

She was engrossed by the thoughts as she muttered, "I wish to be normal."

And that was when she felt it.

She felt her consciousness separating from her body, she felt dizzy and she felt weak. She felt her enhanced body getting weaker and her senses getting more dull.

She became lightheaded as she stumbled back a little, only for Jasper to hold her.

"It's alright, you are alright," He assured, "Relax."

She was so confused as to what was happening.

But this was when she felt it.

She felt her connection to plant life fading, she no longer felt the emotions and thoughts of plants around her that always followed her.

She felt weak, she felt powerless but most importantly.

She started to feel free.

And when she looked at her shuddering body, her eyes went wide in utter shock and masked happiness.

Her skin, that was formerly green, started to turn back to the pale skin that she originally had.

It felt like a dream, a very nice dream that she didn't want to wake up from.

"I-Is this real?" She asked, horrified and happy at the same time, "Am I finally n-normal?"

"Mhm," Jasper confirmed, "While it is not permanent, you are back."

She felt her eyes tearing up, "Am I not poisoned anymore?"

"You can test it yourself." Jasper grinned, making Pamela look at him.

Yeah, at that moment she was not Poison Ivy but Pamela Isley.

As she heard that, she didn't think a second thought as she tiptoed to place a kiss over his lips.

Expecting him to faint or start hallucinating, but that was when she realized.

"That's more than the appreciation that I expected."

That she truly was back.

"Not that I mind–"

Jasper was left speechless as she grabbed him before pushing her lips against his once again, this time for way longer and with much more aggression and intimacy.

And this time, Jasper didn't let go of her either as he grabbed her by the hips before pushing her against the wall –deepening the kiss between them, enjoying the movement of her tongue.

"Let me do something better~"

And that was when she felt her eyes rolling over.

As for the first time it was not her putting someone under an aphrodisiac effect.

But her that was put under it.

And she couldn't say that she didn't like it even as a lie.

On another note, for those wondering why MC's enchantment is more like alchemy, it is because it is alchemy + a bit of enchantment (for the time being). MC is unable to discern science and magic properly which is why he needs to believe in the probability of an event for the enchantment to succeed.

Alchemy is what science can do but better and faster using magic.

Enchantment is the magical version of control manipulation.

Alchemy is weaker than Enchantment but both are a part of magic. And when MC learns to differentiate them, he will be able to do a lot of crazy things that can be considered as reality bending.]]
