Dc: Start Female Superman

In the vast universe, there is a planet called Krypton facing collapse. As the end of the world approaches, two cousins from the 'Al' family on Krypton tacitly send their children to Earth in a spaceship. The son of Jor-El was named Kal-El, who later became Superman. The other is Jor-El's niece, named Kara Zor-El, Kal-El's cousin, and ten years older than him. Just as Krypton was about to be destroyed, the two cousins had to board a spaceship to escape to a planet called Earth. But on the way, Kara Zor-El's spaceship encountered a meteor, and just when Kara Zor-El was injured and about to die, a soul occupied her body.

Chapter 134

Unknowingly, Kara has been away from Earth for five years.

Initially, her fans were unsettled, as after only two months, Kara's popular food column was entirely discontinued.

The reason was simple: no one else could replicate her unique style. Kara's column wasn't just about food reviews; it included detailed recipes and personal insights from preparation to cooking. Her series became famously known as "Kara's Guide for Dummies," not to imply Kara was an amateur, but because her guidance made even complex recipes approachable for beginners.

Creating this kind of column wasn't easy. It required not only a chef's expertise but also the ability to write engagingly. Perry quickly realized this couldn't be outsourced to just anyone and abandoned the search for a replacement.

At first, people were concerned about Kara's absence, wondering if something had happened to her. Over time, though, interest waned; people returned to their lives and simply collected her past columns, some even jokingly referring to them as the "Cookbook of the Goddess of Cooking."

However, Kara's close friends and family knew her whereabouts. She kept in touch using the Green Lantern ring's communication ability, which Hal helped set up, allowing her to call home from anywhere. Although others might not understand where she was, Clark and her adoptive parents knew she was at the core of the Sun.

Kara had been studying the Sun meticulously. After exploring every inch of its surface, she ventured toward the core. Given the Sun's enormous mass, over a million times that of Earth, this would take years—even for her. She had hardly slept during these five years, fully absorbed in her research.

The Sun's surface temperature reaches about 6,000 degrees Celsius, but at the core, it exceeds 20 million degrees, with pressures around 300 billion atmospheres—equivalent to carrying multiple Earths with each step. Kara could withstand this, and her size now fluctuated between 300 to 1,000 meters tall—a true titan. In theory, she could stretch even taller, but the larger she became, the more pressure she'd face. She balanced her growth to avoid disrupting her progress, though if she wanted, she could reach 10,000 meters and use the Sun as her personal gym.

Kara grew immensely powerful, so much that even she couldn't fully grasp her limits. Constantly bathed in solar radiation, her blonde hair had become radiant, practically glowing golden, as had her cape and suit. Only by consciously controlling it did she prevent her skin and eyes from turning golden as well. In the end, she kept only the "S" on her chest in a gold hue, reverting everything else. She wanted to blend in on Earth, and self-illuminating hair would be hard to explain.

"Almost there," Kara murmured, unaware she'd been immersed in the Sun for five years. This deep study of the Sun had made her one of Earth's foremost experts on stellar bodies, at least in terms of hands-on knowledge.

In the process, she finally deduced why a red sun weakens Kryptonians. The light of a golden sun is youthful, full of life, and its rays enhance Kryptonian cells. In contrast, a red sun—typically an aging red giant—emits a different type of radiation that saps energy from Kryptonian cells, rendering them no stronger than those of regular humans.

Additionally, on Krypton, elements like kryptonite emit radiations harmful to Kryptonians. This radiation filled Krypton's atmosphere, so Kryptonians had no chance to develop further.

Once Kara thoroughly understood the Sun, she realized she could replicate a smaller version of it, eliminating the need to stay within it for energy.

"It's time to go home," she said, stretching. She felt exhaustion set in from five years of continuous work, sleeping only three to five seconds at a time. For most, such an ordeal would be unbearable, but Kara was breaking beyond mortal limits. She had long been able to forgo sleep and even food, drawing all energy and strength from the Sun's rays. Yet, she enjoyed eating, and so had been consuming the Sun's magma and flames as sustenance, even resisting the urge to bite off a piece of the core.

Destroying the Sun's core would be reckless and disastrous, as it's the central gravitational force of the solar system. If the Sun lost mass, the entire solar system would collapse toward the core of the Milky Way, risking catastrophic events.

Thankfully, Kara understood the gravity of such actions.

But before returning to Earth, she needed to visit Oa. She narrowed her eyes, recalling her initial mission—to protect the egg she had left on the Sun's surface five years ago. Surely, it must have hatched by now?

And the second-generation Parallax entity? Would it remember the last encounter? Would it seek revenge?

Kara's approach was to eliminate all threats; she'd leave no room for hidden dangers. Her Earth family were ordinary people, vulnerable to creatures like Parallax. She couldn't afford to be careless.

"Oa it is," she said, returning to the Sun's surface. Her super-vision spanned the universe, her super-hearing attuned to life across galaxies. She focused on Oa, pinpointed its location, then shot off in a streak of golden light, reaching the Green Lantern Corps' home planet within a second.
