Clark then fought the commanders of zod and defeated them while zod took them away and discovered the scout ship of Krypton, he then used his own fortress of solitude to unlock it, while zod ordered the world engines to recreate earth atomosphere.

the world engines started their work while Clark broke one of the engines and also Louise lane along with Emil Hamilton used the crib of Clark to destroy the other and Clark rescued the falling Louise, I sighed in relief, as watching this in reality and in movie is very different if they can't destroy it then earth would've doomed.
