Making a home

Through his senses, he immediately began to work. Reaching with his mind through his senses, he began putting out any fires he saw.

They had burned enough, he broke down any other structure he saw without caring what it did or what it was. It was using his resources, so it must go.

Every small village or town that Zax's people had formed was completely burnt to the ground. However, Maxwell didn't care about that.

Even if he was reviving the planet as a means to repay his debt, he still planned to use it.

He had nowhere to go for now, so he might as well make the planet home.

Using his power, he disintegrated every Parademon structure, turning them into nothing but black sand. This 'sand' was used to build cities.

Reaching out into space for Asteroids nearby, Maxwell found many. The planet closest to it had billions of them around it and above all, he found water.

"The planet is already a super Earth, it needs to have an atmosphere highly rich in oxygen so… " Maxwell thought as his mind got to work.

Soon a small plate-like thing could be seen before him as he looked on with a smile on his face.

The plate absorbed carbon monoxide to create oxygen at a higher rate than a tree and due to how it was made, it will also do it in greater numbers than algae.

This was cement… Well, not exactly, it was a type of cement that was made from his newly created organism.

While Maxwell created cities, using his newly created cement, where the villages once stood, the asteroid finally arrived at the planet.

There were many of them, easily numbering in their hundreds, but more than half of these giant rocks were purely water… Well, ice but still water.

Oceans were not made of purely water; there existed many other minerals that made it, an ocean. He also needed to figure out which of the stolen oceans were saltwater and freshwater.

Hours went by as Maxwell floated there, doing nothing but analysing, building, and restoring the dead planet. The water from the asteroids filled the oceans.

He created seeds based on what he had learnt about in the Apokalips Pit. He couldn't create living creatures, but was there a need to do so.

….

Meanwhile, on Apokalips, the fire pits hungered for more resources. The slaves watched in horror as their planet's resources were wasted on some ever burning pit.

"You fail me, Goodness" a deep sinister voice was heard resonating throughout the entire planet

"I am sorry my lord, I will send the armies to rectify the problem, it may be the pesky forever people causing trouble again sire" A feminine voice was heard following that.

The voice sounded scared, loyal, but mostly scared. As the voice spoke, all within the planet's reach bowed or were forced to bow.

The Dark God was speaking and none was to disrespect him, no matter who they be.

"I hand down an operation to you, and you let the forever people interfere, my pits hunger, either you quench its hunger or I quench you" The Dark God spoke again with a clear hint of anger in his tone.
