Chapter 47: His Majesty H'el

In the heart of Washington, D.C., several iconic buildings had been leveled, making way for the grand palace of H'el.

On this day, the sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky. Nine airships looped gracefully through the air, their hulls adorned with screens displaying scenes of prosperity and smiling faces from around the world.

An array of colorful hot air balloons filled the sky, adding to the festive atmosphere.

On the ground, people from all corners of the world gathered to witness the coronation ceremony. Many of them wore the flags of the H'el Empire, featuring a black background with a radiant sunburst in the upper left corner, symbolizing hope.

Food stalls lined the streets, offering a wide variety of authentic dishes from around the world. The entire Washington, D.C. area was engulfed in jubilation, with excited citizens waving the newly adopted flags of the H'el Empire, celebrating their newfound status as H'el's subjects.

The atmosphere was electric, and people danced, singing celebratory songs at the top of their lungs.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

The sky erupted with massive fireworks, painting vibrant patterns across the blue canvas above.

The coronation ceremony officially began, and all eyes turned toward the grand and monumental palace that was still under construction.

The main hall was vast and magnificent, adorned with towering pillars, intricately carved beams, and depictions of Earth's diverse landscapes etched into the columns. Overhead, the dome projected a celestial night sky, giving the illusion of standing beneath the stars.

The grandeur and unique spatial design of the palace made even the 13,861 mayors from cities around the world who had gathered there feel minuscule. They couldn't help but think that, compared to the vastness of the universe, they were as insignificant as specks of dust.

For each of the mayors, this was an unprecedented display of grandeur and spatial architecture that made them acutely aware of their own insignificance in the face of the cosmos.

H'el sat on a throne adorned with the most precious jewels and gemstones from Earth, reclining with his body tilted, his right elbow resting on the armrest, and his right hand supporting his cheek. His eyes were indifferent as he casually observed the celebration centered around him.

The festivities were now visible from every corner of the Earth, showcasing H'el seated on his imperial throne, gazing down upon the masses with an air of indifference.

In the hearts of the people, the image of a divine and majestic emperor took form. A true emperor, they believed, should overlook their subjects with disdain, considering them mere ants, elevated and beyond measure. To catch a glimpse of his perfect visage and hear his sacred words was the greatest blessing they could hope for in their lives.

The shouts of the ecstatic citizens resonated, fervently and wildly supporting, idolizing, and infecting the world like a viral epidemic.

The entire world became animated and excited.

Jupiter, who stood beside H'el, began to preside over the start of the coronation ceremony.

Originally, Jupiter had considered arranging for H'el to tour, to meet the people, and to engage in a series of activities before the public, showcasing imperial majesty and more. However, this idea was promptly rejected by H'el.

Why bother? H'el wasn't genuinely seeking the adoration of the common folk. He was here simply because the idea of being crowned emperor intrigued him. He sat here and allowed them to witness his coronation.

"Your Majesty, be blessed."

All the mayors who had come to pay their respects knelt before H'el, their right hands over their chests, bowing to him.

H'el was indifferent to whether they knelt or not.

All the ceremonies, the mayors' rituals, and the flags here were all orchestrated by Jupiter. She was determined to showcase H'el's majesty and had designed the act of kneeling.

During this coronation ceremony, the most excited person was not the citizens who would receive a three-day celebration holiday for the coronation.

It was not even those who came to pay their respects to H'el and were informed that they would receive the advanced superpower gene serum.

It was Jupiter, who presided over everything and had exchanged only a few words with H'el.

The excitement in her heart, the intensity of her thoughts, the overflowing ambition, and the sense of supreme honor as she watched the mayors from major cities kneeling before H'el, indirectly experiencing the privilege of being revered, made her feel like a divine being with dignity shared in both honor and disgrace.

H'el sat on the imperial throne and found Jupiter's transformation quite intriguing.

Everything she did was a dedicated effort to showcase H'el's majesty and unparalleled honor.

She desired more than anyone for H'el to forever sit on the imperial throne.

She desired more than anyone to maintain all of this.

She fervently supported and revered H'el more than anyone else.

"Rise."

A smile curved at the corners of H'el's mouth.

Indeed, power could easily change a person.

In this coronation ceremony, the honor and dignity bestowed upon him, the coronation, were not a mere imperial throne that he could easily obtain.

Instead, it was Jupiter who had once sought to kill him for the sake of humanity.

In her heart, she had been crowned as H'el's most steadfast protector.

She could never harm him.

She would always find an excuse.

All these changes simply made H'el burst into laughter.

"Hahaha..."

H'el sat on the throne, laughing heartily amidst the mayors' expressions of gratitude, without concealing his amusement.

There was nothing to stop him from openly enjoying himself.

The entire Earth raised their glasses in unison, "Cheers, to the greatness of our Majesty!" Liquid clinked as it splashed from their cups, and the people drank heartily, laughing loudly with their ruler on Earth.

The whole Earth seemed to burn even more brightly.

H'el laughed along with the world, already feeling the madness that Jupiter was about to endure four and a half years from now when he would leave this world with Sylvia.

Jupiter was undoubtedly fortunate to become the chief secretary under H'el's rule.

This Earth was undoubtedly fortunate.

With the apocalyptic power that H'el possessed, he managed to restrain his inner self from pressuring the world into researching superpowers.

Up to this point, the collection of superpower data couldn't be considered extensive; only some applications had allowed H'el to explore his thoughts in various ways.

In reality, he could have been more ruthless, using his own power to destroy the Earth, oppressing humanity to the brink, forcing them to burst forth with ideas for the survival of human civilization. That would undoubtedly lead to a magnificent and brilliant era of human superpower civilization.

But he didn't.

So, this Earth was indeed fortunate.

H'el still remembered his previous life's insignificance, the intangible societal despair, and the powerless struggles of Krypton's commoners. He recalled the moment the planet exploded. He carried the compassion he had for his past life and Krypton over to this Earth.

H'el applied this compassion and kindness to this Earth.

H'el couldn't know for sure whether his future self, hundreds or thousands of years from now, would still be capable of ruthlessly slaughtering eight million lives overnight out of disgust for evil. Or if, by then, a casual blow from him would obliterate entire planets, regardless of their alignment with good or evil.

This planet was undoubtedly super lucky. H'el's arrival elevated it to a new level, and his departure would return it to the hands of humanity.

Jupiter knew nothing of this and continued to cheer with unrestrained enthusiasm.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let us celebrate the ascent of Earth's master to the supreme throne. Raise your fists high, and with passionate shouts, proclaim the name that will bring peace, happiness, fairness, and justice to humanity, creating an unprecedented legacy—His Majesty, H'el!"
