Chapter 264: I'm Free?

"Wake up, Athena."

Athena stood gracefully in a long white robe adorned with gold trim. Under the sunlight, she shimmered with a gentle glow, exuding a dignified and serene beauty. Her closed eyes and exquisite face represented an extreme form of artistry, evoking admiration that made one reluctant to disturb her.

H'el glanced at her, using his psychic powers to stir her consciousness and awaken her.

By the time Athena woke up, Hades was gone.

She was curious about what Hades had discussed with H'el, but her curiosity wasn't strong enough to prompt her to ask.

"Follow me."

H'el walked ahead, and a light screen portal appeared in front of them. Athena followed his steps, entering the portal, only to find themselves aboard the Zero mothership on the moon.

The surroundings were filled with the cold, metallic feel of mechanical technology, easily distinguishing the environment.

"Curious about what Hades and I talked about?" H'el walked briskly in front, his black hair and the sharp outline of his face visible from the side.

"Curious, but not enough to want to know," Athena replied, measured and composed.

The Olympian gods typically sought pleasure, finding various ways to amuse themselves until the end of the universe.

When an Olympian god stops seeking pleasure, it's easy to deduce their intentions.

They seek to pursue freedom with all their might, willing to risk their lives for boundless and infinite freedom in the future.

Such things are not difficult to guess.

However, Athena couldn't fathom what in this universe could be a catalyst or substance that would grant Hades freedom.

"He came to ask me to join him and Darkseid in attacking Oa," H'el said without reservation. "The flesh of Doomsday is sealed in Oa. Additionally, the final 'Forbidden Chapter' in the Book of Oa contains the power of death."

H'el's explanation made Athena understand completely.

"No wonder he said the Olympian gods would oppose it. The Olympian gods would indeed help the cosmic guardians protect Oa," Athena said with a bitter smile.

Could the Olympian gods refuse to help?

They couldn't.

If Oa were breached by Darkseid, he would discover that it wasn't the center of the universe.

Then Earth, where the Olympian gods resided, along with their divine realm, would become Darkseid's next target. No amount of hedonistic distractions would prevent that.

Everyone is an avatar of their true self, so their intentions are clear.

Darkseid would certainly understand that the Olympian gods would want to enjoy life until the end of the universe.

Therefore, it's highly likely that Earth, where the Olympian gods reside, is the center of the universe.

Darkseid would inevitably target Earth, aiming to destroy both the planet and the Olympian gods.

Even the slightest suspicion would prompt Darkseid to take action. He wouldn't hesitate to obliterate Earth, a tiny planet.

If the Olympian gods dedicated all their efforts to protect Earth, it would be obvious that there was something special about the planet.

This would only provoke Darkseid to launch even fiercer attacks.

Knowing that Hades was involved in Darkseid's plan to attack Oa, the Olympian gods would undoubtedly step in to help Oa.

Given the situation, for the stability of the universe and the safety of all Olympian gods, Athena would have to inform Zeus.

This issue was directly related to her survival and the continued existence of the universe, leaving no room for hesitation.

Athena followed H'el to the expansive hangar of the Zero mothership.

The surrounding crew members, seeing H'el arrive, quickly saluted before being waved off to continue their tasks.

The dimensional vortex swirled gently, spinning in the vast hangar, with the Three-Body Universe on the other side.

Athena had never entered this universe, but the large contingent of magic troops she had trained were being transported there for conquest operations.

"Are you planning to place me in that universe, severing my connection to the Olympian gods?" Athena asked, shaking her head with some regret.

Knowing that Hades and H'el were collaborating with Darkseid, the two strongest beings in this universe, made Athena particularly anxious.

Oa seemed doomed this time.

Once Oa fell, and H'el obtained the flesh of Doomsday, he would have no reason to protect Earth and could withdraw at any time.

Athena sighed inwardly.

It was unfortunate that H'el was nearby, leaving her no chance to relay the information to Zeus, otherwise, they could have prepared.

Now, all she could do was wait for the inevitable end.

H'el glanced curiously at Athena. He had never expected her to genuinely align with New Krypton; she was always going to be a part of the Olympian pantheon.

But to imprison her in the Three-Body universe? That would be underestimating H'el.

"Go ahead," H'el said calmly.

Athena's elegant and beautiful face showed a deep resignation.

She hadn't anticipated that the hope she had found would lead to the premature end of the Olympian gods' time in this universe.

With no other choice, Athena stepped into the dimensional vortex and entered the Trisolaran universe.

The numerous workers paused their tasks to salute as H'el arrived, but he waved them off to continue their work.

"How do you feel?" H'el asked Athena.

Athena felt strange, her beautiful brows furrowing slightly as she pondered for a moment. "Your Majesty, this universe feels... peculiar. I feel a bit... unwell."

Athena's brows knitted together, creating a sorrowful yet beautiful expression that captured the attention of everyone around.

She didn't find anything particularly special about this universe.

At most, it was like a divine realm, a small universe within the larger one, nothing extraordinary. It still depended on the primary universe, just on a larger scale.

Yet, as soon as she entered this universe, she felt some unique reactions within herself, reactions she didn't understand.

It was an unprecedented experience.

Athena looked around, unable to grasp the specifics of this micro-universe, but she was impressed by its uniqueness.

For it to cause reactions within her that she didn't comprehend meant this small universe was indeed extraordinary.

"I see," H'el mused. After a moment of thought, he looked at the dimensional vortex and waved it away.

"How about now?" H'el asked again.

Athena's body trembled suddenly, her form stiffening like a resilient rose in a storm. She turned sharply, her eyes wide with disbelief, tears welling up as she stared at H'el.

"I'm free?" she exclaimed in astonishment.
