The upper echelons of Krypton never disappoint.
When Young H'el's report on the core was submitted, with Jor-El, the deputy director of the Central Institute of Technology, as a guarantor and verifier, the upper echelons of Krypton simply sent someone to hastily inspect the crust, conducting peripheral checks. Without obtaining the same data as Young H'el, they began to attack the reputations of Jor-El and Young H'el, claiming their allegations were baseless and engaging in a series of political activities.
Both Young H'el and Jor-El had truly given up on the entire upper echelon of Krypton.
They also embarked on completely different paths.
At the same time, Young H'el enlisted Jor-El's brother, Zor-El, to work for him, and also made various contacts with the upper echelons of Krypton. The upper echelons of Krypton thought he was just trying to preserve his father's position as deputy director, engaging in various activities to win favors, dismissing it as inconsequential. Little did they know, Young H'el was collecting DNA information from the upper echelons, preparing to completely replace them through cloning.
Young H'el's progress was deliberately guided by H'el, advancing along the trajectory of history.
H'el looked down on Krypton, focusing his gaze on Jor-El, probing his thoughts with his psychic power.
"Krypton... is beyond saving."
But at this moment, Jor-El was filled with disappointment towards the upper echelons of Krypton, indulging in luxury and decadence, feeling deeply that the upper class of Krypton was truly beyond redemption. Allowing them to control Krypton in such a manner, even as the planet approached destruction, they continued their political maneuvers, hosting endless banquets and engaging in various forms of upper-class entertainment.
Jor-El was truly disillusioned with the upper echelons of Krypton.
At this moment, he conceived a desire to save Kryptonian civilization, to perpetuate Kryptonian culture, to break the rigid class structure, and to change the stagnant society of Krypton.
"You never cease to disappoint me, Jor-El."
H'el looked down at Jor-El, probing his thoughts with his psychic power, devoid of emotion.
Perhaps he needed to pay attention to Young H'el's sudden thoughts and their influence on those around him, and the disruption they caused in the closed loop.
But Jor-El, deeply rooted in the upper echelons of Kryptonian society, believed that the upper echelons were everything. He had never thought to venture into the lower levels at this time, firmly believing that the stubborn upper class was everything, that the upper echelons were the embodiment of Krypton's character, and that they were untouchable.
Especially when one day he heard from his brother, Zor-El, that Young H'el was almost perfect, overly perfect, and devoid of desires, he began to doubt, to investigate, to carefully probe what Young H'el truly wanted.
Eventually, he was horrified to discover that H'el had cloned many of Krypton's high-ranking officials beneath the streets of Kandor, and the revolutionary army in the slums had coalesced into a formidable force, venerating Young H'el as a god. All these signs and evidence left him deeply shaken.
To truly overthrow Krypton, to destroy Krypton.
With his own stubborn ideas, he speculated how much destruction and chaos this would cause to Krypton.
In haste, he accelerated the construction progress of the outer space research spacecraft that had long been engaged in space exploration, completing Krypton's spacecraft to other planets at the fastest speed possible.
Finally, with Young H'el intentionally exposed by H'el, Jor-El sent him aboard the outer space research spacecraft, sending him away from Krypton to perish in the vastness of space.
Jor-El also replicated a portion of his own consciousness, ensuring that Young H'el would die in space.
H'el did not accompany Young H'el into space; he simply watched him leave.
He could catch up with him at any time, so there was no rush.
He was eager to see what had happened on Krypton since he was exiled into space by Jor-El, to see if his contingency plans had been entirely ineffective.
After all, he had entrusted everything to General Zod.
And everything remained unchanged. If Jor-El could carry out his future as he did, it proved that General Zod had failed miserably.
H'el quickly saw General Zod's reaction upon receiving the message left by Young H'el.
"H'el, you are indeed harboring immense ambitions, seeking to overthrow Krypton." General Zod sat in his chair, slamming the armrest heavily, his face stern. "Thinking you can teach me? I am the general of Krypton!"
Soon after receiving H'el's message, General Zod began to confirm and initiate the rebellion.
However, he did not follow the method provided by Young H'el, which had once been provided by H'el, specific and feasible, targeting Jor-El.
Unfortunately, General Zod possessed the innate genetic talent and pride of being a Kryptonian general. He was a true supporter of genetic and innate theories.
His rebellion was swift and fierce, but under Jor-El's contact and the operation of Krypton's high-ranking officials, it was quickly extinguished.
General Zod, along with his subordinates, was stopped before he could even make a splash.
H'el watched all this unfold, shaking his head with regret.
He had entrusted too much to General Zod.
But there was nothing he could do. Only General Zod could carry out his contingency plans. However, General Zod had his usual pride and would not obey the orders of his friend Jor-El's adopted son who had abandoned his own surname.
General Zod even refused to listen to suggestions because "You are just my friend's adopted son. You have no right or talent to command me to carry out your contingency plan."
At this point, almost everyone on Krypton who could stop Jor-El had been eliminated by him.
Then, Jor-El began his efforts to perpetuate Kryptonian civilization.
"Lara, Krypton is beyond saving. The core will explode in one or two years. Kryptonian civilization needs to continue, but I refuse to see a new Krypton become a society without hope like this again."
Jor-El and his wife, Lara, had discussed the future of Krypton many times. But for now, it seemed that there was no future for Krypton - no freedom. Eventually, Lara supported his decision.
After all, Krypton's days were numbered, and they didn't have much time left.
Jor-El and Lara began to create a fake Codex to replace the real one.
On a pitch-black night, Jor-El and Lara secretly unlocked their reproductive locks and mated.
They wanted to conceive naturally, to give birth to a child through natural reproduction, who would inherit Kryptonian civilization and become the future of their continuation of Krypton.
After a long while, when they both finished, Jor-El held Lara in his arms as they fell asleep.
H'el overlooked Krypton's sky, witnessing everything from the planning to the execution.
H'el didn't want to interfere because this was the correct history.
But as he turned away, about to leave Jor-El and Lara, a strange idea emerged in his mind.
He emptied the essence that Jor-El had infused into Lara's body, replaced it with his own essence using his spatial abilities, and conducted experiments with his psychic power in Lara's body.
