The storm has arrived

-Lucas's pov -

I checked my phone not caring about me being on stage, I couldn't help but widen my eyes at the image trending on DCO.

White Martians.

FUCK! White Martians are one of the most annoying aliens out there, they can read minds, shapeshift, and even phase through attacks. And their only weakness is fire of which I'm not the biggest fan of either.

I locked eyes with Dembe and nodded, I brought the microphone to my mouth, "EVERYONE!" I shouted into the mic my voice silencing the shouts of confusion and distress

"Please calmly leave the building, then make your way to the closest shelter. I don't know what those creatures are but they don't seem to be friendly, I suggest staying in the safety of your homes until everything is fixed. Thank you, please stay safe!" I exclaimed

Some clapped but mostly everyone began to make their way out of the stands.

As Dembe and I left Slade and I made eye contact, I nodded at him. It was like an unspoken agreement we will talk later.

Dembe and I speedily drove to my house, entering I asked him, "how far has your training progressed?"

He seemed thoughtful for a moment, "I can create fears that I have already encountered and manipulate them, and with my vampire training I am about pre-evolution you,"

I nodded, it made sense my vampire bite would be more effective, I hastily made my way to my bookcase.

Pulling out a Dungeons and dragons item catalog I pulled out three rings of mind shielding.

Tossing one to dembe I said, "here I don't know if you are immune to mind reading or not,"

I could still read his mind, so I don't think he is.

"Thanks," he replied and I nodded

I needed to make a quick trip.

-break-

I entered Queen manor with ease, I instantly spotted my sister and Moira sitting in the living room looking scared and nervous.

They both spotted me at the same time, "Lucas, What are you doing here?" Moira asked

"I'm here to see Thea," I replied indifferently

Thea came over to me and asked, "are you staying?" obviously she wanted me to be here for this invasion

"No, but I need you to wear these," I replied putting a necklace around her neck and a ring on her finger

"Don't take these off and stay home okay?" I 'asked' in a firm tone

Thea seemed scared she hugged me and said, "where are you going?"

"I have stuff to do, I will tell you after this all blows over I promise. Just stay here and don't take those off," I replied in a reassuring tone

"Okay," she agreed with a small nod

"Love you be safe," she said with a small tear leaking from her eye as if she knew I was about to do something dangerous

"Love you too sis,"

-break-

I arrived in at Oliver's club, it was easy to get into the basement.

Walking down the stairs I saw Oliver, Felicity, and Diggle.

"Arrow," I greeted him

They all turned to me alert, "what the hell," Felicity said

I ignored Diggle and Felicity and gave Oliver a ring of mind protection, "wear this ring and use fire,"

"What does the ring do And how will fire help," Oliver asked

"Protect your mind from any intrusions, the aliens are called white martians they are creatures that can shapeshift, phase through attacks and objects, read minds, and more. Fire is their weakness," I replied

"How do you even know that? And why should we trust you!" Diggle said before I could respond

"Listen to me or not I don't care," I replied before disappearing

-break-

I checked DCO once more and frowned heavily, it seems something might be terribly wrong even more so than I thought.

They aren't even trying to shapeshift into humans and subjugate earth that route, they are simply brute-forcing everything. Tearing apart people, buildings, and roads.

They started in what seems to be a small town near Central City but, some people seem to have spotted them approaching Metropolis.

It's only been a couple of hours and yet the world seems to have gone to shit.

Batman, Superman, the flash, and wonder woman, the heroes of this world don't know how to combat the forces of white Martians, and even more annoying is I know that green Martians will come next.

"What should we do?" Dembe asked as he constantly checked the news

DCO was a godsend right now, it was like the whole world was giving us real-time updates on where the aliens are.

I began to stockpile several different types of blood in my ring while dembe put vials in the bag of holding I gave him.

"You got to Metropolis, I will go to Gotham, and then swing by Central city. I don't like splitting up but we have to share our information with the heroes. All hands are on deck right now," I told him

Dembe nodded, "I will check on my family at the same time,"

-Narrator pov -

Dembe transformed back into his human form landing on top of a large building in metropolis, he scanned the ground below him.

White Martians were destroying the city.

He already called his family to evacuate using the already planned evacuation method, the Martians were seemingly going after every major city and he knew they weren't safe.

"Superman," he greeted the red and blue-dressed hero as he flew down next to him

Ten Martians seemed to be focused on attacking them as they approached closer.

"I haven't seen you before," Superman said shooting off some lasers

"Azreal sent me, he said the white Martians are weak against fire and everyone needs to team up right now," Dembe replied smoothly

Superman frowned, "but my lasers aren't even phasing them,"

Dembe began to emit a yellow glow, "they are, you just can't tell," he said before releasing a huge shockwave of fear energy

Suddenly every Martian dropped to the ground howling in pain and trying to run in fear, fire consumed their very beings.

"Now!" Dembe yelled shooting forward

His hand reached into the pouch at his side, pulling out a bottle of oil he threw it downward, jumping over all of the white Martians he headed forward not turning back as he heard their agonizing screams when Superman lit them aflame with his heat vision.

-Lucas pov -

I landed in Gotham, I already had my echolocation on and couldn't spot any white martians so this place was good for now.

I went to the bat signal and turned it on, thus I waited. I hope Batman doesn't attack me right away that would quickly end any goodwill I mustered up for this trip.

I saw him approaching the building, he thought he was sneaky or something, even as he dropped into the shadows behind me it was as if he thought he could hide or something.

"Batman," I said turning around

"Azreal," he replied calmly inching forward

"I come in peace," I said with a slight smirk not that he could see it

"What do you want?" he asked still prowling forward

"The aliens that are attacking they are called white Martians, highly dangerous. I'm sure you know a bit about regular Martians these are basically that but white. They are weak against fire," I told him

I could see the gears in his mind turning, I am going off of the fact that he does know about Martians like in that one animated show.

"I see," was his response his voice was dark and coarse

Suddenly I got a call, I nodded to Batman before speeding away who knew what types of devices he had to listen in?

I saw it was Andrew that was calling, picking up the phone I asked, "is everything alright?"

"No! The agents of Order and some Hellsings are attacking us in Metropolis!"
