Shadow realm(read for chapter 4)

The Shadow Realm is an alternate dimension where the shadows lie and it is here where the Shadowkhan tribes originate from. It is the one place that no mortal would dare enter. The realm is an empty, red or black void filled with an eery, mist-like sky and the only beings that reside within are the Shadowkhan tribes and demon-like snakes. The Shadow Realm also acts as a sort of nexus that when accessed, can transport anyone to any place in the world, however for humans to access it, they need the aid of dark magic, such as Shadow Magic.

With the essence of The Oni generals, Alex can bypass using shadow magic and travel through the shadow realm. But due to Tarakudo's influence in the shadow realm, he blocks Alex's access to it. so he can only summon his Shadow-khan.

The reason the Oni generals can't leave the shadow realm is that when they were sealed away, the ones who did it used masks made in their image as the key to their return to earth. when found and worn by someone the seal is loosened allowing the Oni to take over the body and fight again.

the residents of the shadow realm are the Oni, the tribes of shadow-khan which remain blended into the shadows of the realm, and demon snakes that live there. Oni's are evil and so are the demon snakes, the shadow-khan are nutral mindless drones only following orders.

Tarakudo is the King of the Shadowkhan and Lord of all Oni. Tarakudo wishes to set free his loyal Oni Generals who were sealed away by the Oni Masks hundreds of years ago and cover the world in darkness.

Appearance

At first, Tarakudo appears to be a large, brownish-orange floating ghost head with green/yellowish eyes. He has a large, white beard with what seems to be unruly eyebrows and a mustache. He has black marks on the corners of his mouth and his eyes. When in full body form, he wears a large red and black designed shirt. Without his shirt, he appears to be wearing a grey belt, black baggy pants, and black shoes. He has black cuffs on his wrists.

Rairakku (Rī-rä-kü) is one of Tarakudo's Oni Generals who could summon the Ninja Khan. half of his essence was stolen by Shendu and is the cause of the two realms coming together and when Alex killed Shendu he absorbed his essence. because Alex was using Chinese chi magic and Oni's are Japanese.

Appearance

This general has green hair, red eyes, and two yellow horns.

History

Hundreds of years ago the nine Oni generals were sealed by masks, where they were helpless and could not use their powers.

At an unknown point in time, Shendu found his mask on earth and tapped into its power indirectly absorbed half his essence letting him summon the Ninja Khan without wearing it. Shendu hid the mask in his palace on earth.

Ikazuki (Ē-kə-zü-kē) is one of Tarakudo's Oni Generals, specifically his second-in-command. He could summon the Samurai Khan.

History

Hundreds of years ago, Ikazuki served as the leader of the nine Oni Generals, second only to Tarakudo himself. When the Oni were defeated, their spirits were sealed with masks, where they were helpless and could not use their powers.

Midori (Mē-dôr-ē) is one of Tarakudo's Oni Generals who could summon the Sumo Khan.

Appearance

He looks mostly green, he also has purple eyes and orange hair.

Murasaki, Kiiro, Orenji, Kuro, Mosugurīn, and Aka are the rest of the Oni generals. will Alex get their power too?
