The modern Louisiana city filled with traditional southern values!

Come on down for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures. Embodying its festive spirit is Mardi Gras, the late-winter carnival famed for raucous costumed parades and street parties.

How about visiting the French Quarter, the city's historic heart, famous for its vibrant nightlife and colorful buildings with cast-iron balconies. Crowd-pleasing Bourbon Street features jazz clubs, Cajun eateries and raucous bars serving potent cocktails. Quieter streets lead to the French Market, with gourmet food and local crafts, and to Jackson Square where street performers entertain in front of soaring St. Louis Cathedral!

No? Not your thing?

Then hop on a boat and witness the bayou and its natural splendor!]

A click of the remote instantly shuts off the projection. "Whats so special about New Orleans?" The Flash asks sloppily as he gulfs down a bag of taki's.

Batman guessed the collective group of heroes had the same question. "Thats where Constantine's man is, the person who can help us. Somewhere deep in New Orleans as apparently he's in control of the entire city. How? I don't know but I will find out."

"Name?" Canary asks as she intends to be one of the heroes that travel to speak to this person.

"Jericho. Jericho Drumm, aka: Doctor Voodoo"

———

"You lookin' for the 'Soul King'? Well get in line missy, you aint the only one!"

———

"Yuh ave cum looking fi di 'Black Priest'? Why? Dat bredda dangerous especially tuh outsidas!"

———

"Aint seen nothin, aint saying nothin!"

———

"You want to know the 'Witch Doctor's' place? Ehhhhh...why you askin?"

———

"Aint gon' lie…dont even try it, you dont wanna make the 'Death Dancer' angry, just go home."

———

"You looking for 'Brother Voodoo'?" A aged black man asked the ladies that entered his shop.

"Yes sir, we just want to speak, we wont cause any trouble." Canary held up her hands in passiveness. For hours and hours they had asked people all over the city. This was the first time in 9 hours that someone referred to the person they were asking for in a affectionate manner, calling him 'Brother Voodoo'.

Canary found that incredibly interesting. 'This man can definitely point us to him.' She figured someone who actually knew the person would refer to him as such, after all, the locals called him all sorts of colorless and intimidating nicknames all day.

"She's right-" Diana came up from behind her in her civilian clothes, simple jeans and a jacket outfit with a cap on to hide her recognizable face. "-We don't want any trouble."

The man they were talking to eyed them suspiciously, his eyes narrowed as he recognized the woman with the black hat on her head even though he wasn't 'supposed' to. "You want to 'talk'? Talk bout what? What's there to talk bout?" He asked in a accusing tone. His voice was hard and uncaring, his age beating the niceness out of him and replacing it with straight bluntness.

"Sir...….we just need some help…thats all." Canary stepped back to try and comfort the obviously suspicious man. "We know that Mr. Drumm can aid us."

He didn't let up. "So….you even know his name. You plottin on my boy, missy? Huh? Ill whoop your head, girl. I aint playin!" He raised his hand in mock aggression.

"No need for this to escalate, sir. Please…..please just allow us to speak with Mr. Drumm!" Diana stepped in front of her very capable friend. They stood in silence for a while before the man mentally approved the girls.

"Lotta people come lookin for my boy. Lotta people got bad intentions for him, now I know he can handle himself but I aint gonna let some bad people-" He eyed them carefully as his eyes narrowed again "-Or groupies try an swarm my boy….got it?"

If the women were offended by the implication they didn't show and instead nodded.

"Mmmhm….what time is it?" He asked the ladies.

"It's 9:30." Canary answered him before-

Diana whispered "p.m." under her breath.

"Tomorrow. Yeah…tomorrow you might find him at 'Joe's Crab Shack' or 'Popeyes'. Depends on his mood for chicken or crawfish boil." He told them as he pointed in the direction the restaurants were, "Yeah they somewhere over there, yall gonna buy something?"

Diana and the blonde looked at each other before shaking their heads at the elderly man. "Then get the fuck out!"
