Welcome To The Grand Prix

Sora made it back to the suite in record time. His body plopped onto an ultra comfortable couch that faced the massive window. As he fell into a peaceful state of mind, he couldn't help but think about his future plans for Lex.

There were most definitely some things he could make the genius do for him. The sleepy man didn't know what he wanted yet, but only time would tell. It wasn't as if he had a concrete plan for the entire future.

All he knew was that God would call on him once he was stronger. Stronger than he already was. Sora grew more powerful everyday, so it was unknown how much stronger he needed to be. He decided to let the future version of himself worry about it.

"Mnnn…" A cute hum resounded in the bedroom.

There was a bit of shuffling before the door opened with a creak. The mistress was revealed, only wearing a large shirt to cover her soft body. It was Sora's clothes.

She looked as if she'd just woken up. Upon noticing Sora, Alice silently crawled onto his lap. Her eyes closed while resting on his chest. There was no conversation to be had.

The young man caressed her luscious legs which soothed her back to sleep. A deep sigh of relaxation escaped his lips. Sora could feel his eyes closing against his will. The dreamland was calling for him. Unfortunately, he would have to wait a bit longer.

WOOSH

A powerful burst of wind traveled throughout the entire block. A figure in red and blue zoomed past the window. It was the man of steel. He was on a straight path toward the sinking island. The air cracked as he broke the sound barrier.

Sora couldn't help but smile. Superman was too late. Whatever the kryptonian was occupied with earlier, he seemed to be free now. Probably busy with that female reporter.

'Close but no cigar.' He thought.

It wasn't the young Lockhart's problem anyways. What WAS his problem though, was Alice. She'd woken up due to the loud noise. The beautiful doll couldn't help but kiss his collarbone. Right before she licked him, her eyes widened as if she remembered something.

Alice quickly hopped off his lap and walked into the bedroom. She immediately returned with a newspaper. After getting back on top of him, she handed it over.

"Look at the bottom." She said.

His eyes quickly scanned the top portion in under a second. Once he reached the bottom half, he raised an eyebrow. There was a picture of a beautiful race track.

'The Moto Grand Prix is back in season! Dover International Speedway will be the first circuit this year. While hosted by the Lockhart Estate and Wayne Enterprises, all proceeds will be donated to the St. Jude's Hospital Charity.' It read.

"...I guess we're attending this. When is it?" Sora asked.

"Two weeks." She hummed before nibbling on his neck.

"You decided to co host it with Bruce Wayne?"

"It just came up somehow at the East Angel. You don't remember?"

"No. I must've been zoned out.

"Don't you like motorcycles anyways?"

"...I do."

And just like that, they returned to their comfortable silence. The time went by as Alice drifted back to sleep. It didn't take long for Sora to join her. He was also tired.

Two weeks went by in a flash. The Lockharts had finally returned to Gotham. It was now the morning of the Grand Prix. This time, Sora and Alice weren't keen on dressing up. There was nothing to prove.

With this in mind, they dressed comfortably. Sora was back in his all black outfit and furry hood. Alice wore a long sleeve black tee with a short skirt. Gothic boots with silver buckles covered her feet, only stopping at her calves. Zebra striped socks rose up to her thigh.

Sora couldn't help but eye her a couple times. There was only a small amount of thigh meat visible in between her socks and skirt. This outfit made her look much younger. Without further ado, they hopped in the car.

It took almost three hours to reach the speedway. The track was inside the border of Delaware, so they'd left New Jersey. Upon entering the parking lot, multiple traffic workers could be seen. Sora rolled down the window.

"Ah, the Lockharts. We've been expecting you. Please take the VIP route." One of the workers exclaimed.

He pointed to a pathway that was blocked off by cones. The workers quickly removed the cones, allowing them to drive through. The path was immediately blocked again after their entrance.

After following the path for a few minutes, they reach the VIP lot. Multiple celebrities, influencers, and politicians could be seen speaking with each other. From movie stars and musicians to athletes and government officials, all types of people were there.

Every single one of them paused at the new arrival. The sleepy man parked in the spot reserved for him. Once Alice opened the passenger door, recognition flashed among them.

"Sora, we're going to the executive suites. It's the top floor." Alice reminded him.

"...I remember, Alice." He couldn't help but yawn.

The two weren't wearing dress clothes like everyone else, but the majority of the people there were intimidated. Alice always seemed the scariest but she was actually the nicest. To the masses, Sora resembled an attractive delinquent. It was fortunate that this delinquent was rich.

"Did you tell the chef-"

"Yes, Alice. It's all taken care of."

"What about-"

"Shhh…relax. If anything goes wrong with this event, I'll make sure that we aren't to blame." Sora calmed her.

As they made their way to the elevators, someone eventually found the confidence to approach. A man and woman stopped them on their path. They both seemed to share the same features.

"Ms. Lockhart, a pleasure." The woman greeted. The man next to her was silent. He didn't seem happy.

"Hi! And who are you?" Alice responded with energy.

"I'm Sofia and this…" She pointed to the man beside her. "...is Mario. We're Falcone's kids." She revealed.

An imperceptible smile appeared on Sora's face. What a coincidence! Were they trying to lead the bankrupt family into prosperity again? Approaching Alice for funding? How cute. All of their illegal assets were immediately seized once Carmine died.

"Ah! You two grew up splendid. A pleasure to meet you in person. Did you guys come to enjoy the festivities?" Alice responded. Sofia nodded.

"Of course! How could we not come? Especially when a beauty like you is hosting. Right, Mario?" She elbowed her brother. The cold faced man only grunted in response.

"Aww, thank you…You both are so sweet." The doll answered. Her empty eyes caused Mario to squirm uncomfortably.

The conversation continued, as they made their way in. Mario had shifted his attention to Sora but didn't say anything. The sleepy man didn't look approachable at the moment.

VROOOOM

The sound of high pitched engines could be heard as they reached the suite. With the Falcones on their tail, Sora and Alice finally got a look at the track. The professional racers were already speeding through the turns, running test laps to warm up their tires.

"It seems we did a good job this time." A calm voice resounded beside them.

Sora looked over to find Bruce Wayne sipping on a martini. He always seemed to have a drink in his hand. The young Lockhart shook his other hand.

"Indeed. We've done quite well with this event." Sora answered.
