Test Run

The cool breeze nipped at Sora's skin as he floated in the night sky. After releasing a small yawn, he looked down at the manor he just left. It was luxurious and screamed money. Not to mention the other large homes in the far distance.

"So I've landed in the upper echelon of…Gotham. It really is DC." He muttered.

It was Gotham alright. Fire billowed in the distant city and smoke wafted in the air. Only the rich neighborhood was untouched. The elite class were protected after all. Not surprising there.

What else was there to do besides get a closer look? Sora wanted to go for a test run. One quick assessment of his combat prowess would be enough. An innate ability for battle resided inside him. It wasn't hard to figure out why everything seemed to come easily for him. God obviously played a part.

"Then…let's get started! Hahaha!" He exclaimed.

Sora took a single step in the air and flashed away. A second later, he could be seen falling from the clouds, directly above the city. His hands remained in his pockets during the descent.

As the ground grew closer and closer, the young man found himself parallel with the Wayne Tower. His reflection smiled back at him while his clothes fluttered in the wind. Once Sora was done checking himself out, he took a step off the glass and vanished.

DING

He landed on a nearby rooftop, which was near the Gotham Rail. A train could be seen moving across the elevated platform. Sora was on a direct path toward it. Noticing an open window, he leapt off the edge of the building and soared right into the vehicle.

"...Eh?" He grunted in slight surprise.

Right before he kept moving, he'd noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Two men in ski masks were collecting valuables from the bystanders in the train. Both of them carried firearms. It was extremely quiet, as duct tape covered the mouth of each hostage.

Only one hostage noticed him, and it was the one he'd just landed in front of. Sora raised a finger to his lips telling the old man to stay silent. The young man's appearance had startled the civilian, since he'd basically just materialized out of thin air to those with normal perception.

'I don't really feel like playing nice…' Sora thought sleepily.

He didn't plan on just knocking them out. That was a job for heroes, and he definitely wasn't of that category. Killing them without leaving a trace would be much less work. Plus, he currently wants to enjoy his power.

"Huh?! Where's the good stuff? Don't tell me that's all ya got!" One of the goons scowled.

"Mmm-mm!" A young girl in a business suit shook her head in fear.

She didn't have anything else on her. This upset the criminal, who raised his pistol in anger. His finger rested on the trigger.

"Did ya not hear me? I said show me the rest, bitch!"

"Oi, chill out. We don't need any more heat on us." The other goon spoke up. It was time to act.

Suddenly, a hand tapped the calmer ruffian's shoulder. Light flooded his body and he disappeared. Nothing was left of him, not even ash. Sora then grabbed the other goon's face and flashed into the sky. They were now floating over the ocean. To the rest of the hostages, the two goons had suddenly disappeared.

It took about 3 seconds for the robber's brain to catch up. Only then did he realize that he was now hanging in midair. The man immediately panicked while struggling to release the powerful hand digging into his head. It was like a hydraulic press threatening to pop his skull. His weapon had already fallen to the waters below.

"Ahhhh!! Fuck! What the hell! Who-Where am I?! Let me go!" He roared, not realizing just how high up he was.

"Shhh…be quiet. Can you hear that below us?" Sora spoke in a lazy manner. His other hand remained in his pocket. The man continued to struggle.

"Ahhhh! Let me go! It fucking hurts…" He gasped in pain.

It was so overwhelming that he couldn't even focus on Sora's words. The sleepy man realized that conversation wasn't possible in this situation. Oh well.

"...It's the sound of the crashing waves. You ever wonder what it's like to land in the ocean at high speeds?" The sleepy man continued.

"Wha-wait wait wai-" Not wasting any more time, Sora released his hold on the man.

"Ahhhhhhh!" The criminal screamed as his freefall began. The only thing he could do was die on impact.

"Ahhnnn…" Sora yawned.

Without even waiting for the robber to die, he flashed away. That had been enough of a test run. He wanted to go lay down for now.

After a relaxing flight home, Sora entered through the window. It didn't seem like anything was out of place. That was until he realized that the door was wide open. Alice must be looking for him.

'It would be wiser to just check in with her before going to sleep.' He thought.

The search quickly turned into a tour of the entire manor. It took almost fifteen minutes to find the Mistress. When he did find her, he scratched the back of his head.

Alice was in the dining room, pacing back and forth. She was restless. He noticed her change of clothes, which was now a frilly tank top that showed her belly button, and pajama shorts that barely covered anything.

"Alice? Is something wrong-" Before he could finish his sentence, she leapt onto him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her legs wrapped around his waist. Obviously, he caught her by her meaty buns.

"Where were you?! I thought…I thought you left me!" She whined into his neck.

"I just went out for a stroll. Did you miss me that much?"

"Mnn!" She nodded in agreement.

"How could I ever leave such a beautiful woman here in such an empty place?" He spoke soothingly.

Sora made his way over to one of the chairs and sat down, leaving her on his lap. Alice grasped his hair tightly, forcing him to look at her. Her empty eyes looked into his.

"You must tell me when you are stepping out from now on!" She demanded.

Before he could respond, her tongue ran across his cheek. She'd licked him again, marking him as hers. There was no doubt that her mind was broken.

'Is she a dog? She really loves licking me…Can't say I dislike it though.' He thought with a smile.

Hi.
