New rune (chapter 13)

On a random rooftop in the middle of the night, Barbara and Ted sat with a box of pizza between them, and Ted held a bag of chips. The city's ambient lights illuminated the area as they conversed. Barbara chuckled, "You know, the more people talk, the more they supposedly find out they have something in common."

Ted crunched on a chip slice, feeling the wind on their faces. "We are literally the opposite," he remarked. Barbara observed, "At least we both eat chips." The cityscape created a dynamic backdrop as they enjoyed their contrasting yet pleasant interaction. Suddenly, Barbara received an alert, and with a sharp exhale, she said, "You have to go?"

Ted turned towards her, the cool night air surrounding them. "Yeah, it's an emergency," she replied, getting up. Ted expressed, "Well, that was nice. It was a great day, Barbara." She smiled, "It was nice meeting you too, Ted. Maybe we should do this again sometime?" They agreed, and Ted joked, "Definitely. Well, you know how to find me, so just pop in when you're not busy hacking into the Pentagon," eliciting a nervous laugh from Barbara. Unbeknownst to Ted, she had indeed hacked into the Pentagon before.

-Scene Change-

Inside the shop, Ted stared at a wooden crate displaying a screen:

A smile crossed Ted's face until he reached the 13% chance of the item completely breaking. "Well, there has to be a side effect," he said sarcastically. He then looked at his rings, shaking his head, thinking, "Not now. I'll try it when the durability is so low that I can risk losing the item itself." Afterward, he went back to the kitchen, where he spotted sandpaper and a small ruby on his kitchen isle. He picked them up and began smoothing out the ruby.

[ 4 days later ]

Floating in his sea of consciousness, Ted noticed four large silver dots hovering in his abdomen. He took a breath, observing his astral form with a sense of realization. "So these dots are my spiritual force, hmm," he mused. In the ethereal expanse of his mind, Ted pondered, "Since the house is going to be ready in a week, it's time that I started thinking about the defense, concealment, and maintenance runes."

As the gears in his mind whirred with possibilities, a cascade of ideas flooded his thoughts. He recognized the magnitude of work awaiting him. "And the amount of blood I will be losing," he contemplated, briefly reconsidering the entire endeavor of creating runes. Shaking his head, he dismissed the concern and exited his astral form.

Returning to his physical self, Ted reflected on the challenges ahead. "Which is why I made this rune," he said, a smile playing on his lips as he read the description of the runes he had just conceptualized. The atmosphere of his mental space, a realm of thought and creativity, added depth to his internal contemplation.

Blood-Control(lowest): grants the user control over spilled blood within a 40-meter radius. By focusing their intent, the user can manipulate and shape the blood, allowing for various applications, including creating blood constructs, absorbing the users own back in or stopping bleeding wounds. with 2.2% chance of the user loosing large quantities of blood,Comprehension Rate: 20%,Chance of Success: 20%, Chance of Failure: 80% ]

i have been busy, like really busy, to the point where i am lacking some stock in my chapters, and the reason for that, i cant help but create a new fanfic, but dont worry, i plan on finishing all of my fanfic, except for the young justice as a cultivator, fic, its just that i wasnt feeling it, i wasnt excited about it, but for the fans who like that fanfic, dont worry, i have another young justice fanfic, with a sorcerer system, and of course, the main love interest is zatanna. Did I mention that he is a failed clone of martial manhunter and wonder woman

here my other fanfic, which i would like your vote on:

-Random-Reincarnation-System: as you can guess from the name, it a fanfic, about a soul who gets reincarnated in different worlds, after each death, with the main goal of disturbing the timeline in that universe, earning essence and getting stronger(ps: this is for those wont like fanfic that follow the main timeline of a universe)

-MCU: Incarnation-System: its an mcu fanfic, not like my mcu fanfic, i dont know why i am including in this vote as i am releasing isnt it, but a vote would motivate me. the main premise of this fanfic, is for the mc to create his own organisation, meaning that i got plan the story, the timeline, and the directions of this fanfic, he possess a system which allows him to create an incarnation seed which blossoms into an incarnation, sort of like a clone, but he can pilot them, or they can act independent, the main or the mc's personal goal is to create a shadow organisation, like the eminence of shadows, but every step his organisation takes, changes the timeline, to the point where you wont notice its an mcu fanfic at the end.

Marvel: Time-Stop-Button: as you might have guessed from the name, its a fanfic about a guy with a button that stops time, but every time he stops time, he needs to complete a mission, which he then be rewarded, (ps: trust me, i created a trial fanfic where the mcu has a button which stops indefinitely, but by the first time he came out of the time stop period, he was hella strong, so there has to be some sort of restrictions)
