Chapter: Fun and games

Megumi sighed as he and itadori had been trying for days to get sukuna to speak to megumi to work out some deal about his energy consumption.

But he was a stubborn curse as he refused to speak time and time again. Eventually they gave up and would just have to wait until he came back up to the surface after feeling hungry.

Megumi got off of work as he loosened his tie and walked home. He felt his shoulders stiff from just sitting in a chair filling out important files. When he got home he took off his shoes as he saw itadori had left already to his job at night since they lived a bit farther away from the liquor store now. He sat down alone in the apartment as he scavenged some food out of the fridge to eat.

He sighed as he looked at the time again. Itadori would be home in a hour from now. He thought it would be good to watch a movie while he waited for itadori as he fell asleep on the couch.

Itadori arrived home now as he saw it was dark inside and the television was on. He was about turn it off when he saw megumi sleeping in the couch, he smiled a bit as he turned off the television and was about to wake megumi up. Itadori felt a throb stop him as he felt his vision go black…

Sukuna took control of Itadori again successfully as he finally got a open chance to kill megumi while he was asleep. He traced his long nail on his clothes making tearing noises as he stopped at megumis waist. Ripping a open line through Megumi's shirt to where he planned to rip his heart out.

He couldn't understand how megumi re-sealed him back then, but he was going to quickly finish him as he posed as a threat to his escape from this body.

Megumi opened his eyes as he felt a chill hit his open clothes that were torn open. He opened his eyes now, seeing sukuna was above him about to kill him as he tried sitting up before feeling sukuna's hand through his chest. He managed to kill him after all..

Megumi only observed now sukuna spit blood as he was feeling the full physical pain of crushing Megumi's heart. While Megumi felt numb, he couldn't comprehend what had happened to him. He only watched sukuna give him a weird look before backing away from him. He had quickly healed megumi unconsciously as he backed off and panted, what was going on?

"You finally came out to talk, I'm glad you are feeling chatty today. I have some news for you sukuna since you didn't want to listen before."

*megumi chuckled at how funny it was to see the once murderous sukuna, become so baffled and confused as he back up to the wall away from megumi.*

"What did you do to me, you insolent human?! Why haven't I killed you yet!?"

*sukuna asked as he bared his fangs at megumi.*

"I sealed you back inside itadori, but sealing you wasn't all I did. I have you now linked to my life, and seeing what just happened. I can say that if you try killing me. You will feel every single drop of death as I die over and over and over again since your immortal balances with my mortal life. Not nice right?"

*megumi smirked as he saw the twisted glare of pure hatred fill up in sukuna's eyes.*

As Megumi got off the couch now, he made his way to his bedroom before hearing sukuna chuckle… he didn't like this now..

"Hahaha, I'm impressed little one… you managed to tame the beast inside your friend. But who's to keep me from hurting the things you love? I don't need to kill you to make you want to beg for mercy underneath my feet."

*sukuna closed in on Megumi now as he pinned him to the wall towering over him, Megumi only felt the air thickened as he felt Sukuna's sharp piercing eyes stare into his soul..*

"W-wha?! Get away from me you freak!"

*Megumi pushed sukuna away but failed as sukuna leaned closer giving Megumi a seductive smile.*

"Oh? Not so brave now? What happened to all that cockiness you had before?.. hmm?"

"Shut up bastard, let me go or I'll- I'll.."

Sukuna leaned forward now as he can hear Megumi's breath hitch as he whispered into his ear.

"Or what?.."

Megumi pushed sukuna away now as he quickly ran away to the safety of his bedroom as a loud slam was heard. Leaving onky sukuna in the living room licking his lips having had fun in flustering the brat.

'Pfft… what a cute pet…'

The following day, Megumi woke up as he felt like he was stepping on eggshells. He wasn't sure how or what made sukuna control itadori again, but was relieved to know that he couldn't kill him…

He opened the door slowly as he came out of his room to make his way to work when he flinched at a low thundering growl like voice call his name.

"Megumi~"

'Shit.'

That was all megumi thought as he looked back to see sukuna sitting on the couch watching him like a predator watching prey.

Megumi could have sworn he felt sukuna eye him as he was dressed in his suit that he wore to his new business office job. He gulped as he blushed and quickly pretended he didn't know it was sukuna…

"oH hI, iTaDoRi!?! W-well look at the t-Time?!? I gotta go, bye."

*with that megumi rushed out of the apartment on his way to work. He forgot to take some breakfast now or lunch for later thanks to that idiot.*

Sukuna raised a eyebrow as he rested his chin on his palm… he questioned now, why had he begun feeling a bit jittery seeing megumi flustered?

"Stupid human body.."

*sukuna only mentioned as he felt better seeing megumi off to work as he gave back Itadori control of his body.*

Megumi couldn't think straight as he would fuss around how sukuna was waiting for him to leave his room all night. Wasn't that man human now?? Why couldn't he sleep like a regular person!?

Megumi felt a hand on his shoulder as he saw it was one of his office coworkers, she was very pretty but was known for her drinking habits.

"Oi! Megumi! Let's go out for drinks? The whole group is inviting you to join us!"

Megumi sighed as he turned off his computer seeing it was a little after 11pm… he had overtimed again.

"Um, no thanks.. I should get home. Thanks for the invite though-"

*Megumi stood up but felt a arm wrap around his neck and another few male coworkers came to help lasso Megumi to their party.*

"Come on megu~ don't be such a downer"

Megumi sighed as he knew his luck wasn't on his side tonight. He couldn't think of a good excuse to sneak away from this.

"Fine- only tonight, then I'm not going to any more of these drinking parties, since I'm paying for the drinks tonight."

*Megumi have a half smile as he saw his coworkers cheer, it was nice seeing them happy come along with them. More nice to see they wouldn't ask him to come again because he was pretty sure, he was going to wake up tomorrow with a empty bank account :,)*
