37: Selling

"Wade! My man, it's you again! You have spent tens of Magic Crystals this few months! Haven't you given up yet?" Croc was still as fat as ever.

"Potion making is such a mesmerising skill, I cannot bear to give it up!" Wade said with a grin.

"However, today I am here not just to buy ingredients," Wade said as he handed the Energy Potion over to Croc, "Look and behold!"

"This is..." Croc gasped, "You've succeeded?"

"Of course!" Wade smiled lightly.

What Croc did next was to make a thorough inspection, and after ensuring that it was indeed an authentic Energy Potion, his eyes almost seemed to glow.

"Over a dozen times! You have only attempted it around a dozen times and yet you've succeeded in brewing an Energy Potion! This talent…..!"

Most of the ingredients were sold to Wade by Croc, so he was able to deduce Wade's talent very quickly.

After some contemplation he said.

"Alright! I will be able to give you 8 Magic Crystals for this Energy Potion, how about it?" The fatty asked.

Although the Energy Potion was priced at 8 Magic Crystals and some, 8 Magic Crystals was a reasonable price when considering the profit that was to be made by the stall.

"It's a fair deal, exchange the Magic Crystals for more ingredients for the Energy Potion, Vitality Potion and the recipe for Vitality Potion!" Wade said.

"Alright! If you wish to sell any more Energy Potions in the future, I will buy them all at the price of 8Magic Crystals per potion!" Croc's eyes flashed.

An apprentice with a Potioneering talent that was slightly lower than those famous potioneering experts was akin to a Magic Crystal mine that had yet to be excavated for him.

"Definitely! To a good partnership!"

Wade and Croc shook hands, and after collecting 5 black boxes and a parchment, he walked out from the store.

Three days later, Wade was in his room, looking at twenty test tube lined up properly on his table, deep in thought.

Of these four potions we're the Vitality potion whose material and parchment he had just brought today, but because of his practice in this months, the results were quite good.

Right now, his success rate for brewing an Energy Potion is almost at the same level as his mentor Fred at 40%. However, he would be seeking trouble if he were to sell them all at once!

"Right now I am only able to put on a front and earn just a little, so at most it will be 4 test tubes! As for the rest, I will have to hide them like before."

Wade sighed and placed 4 test tube in the pouch hanging around his waist, and then stowed the remaining 12 test tubes in the NS11 bottles in his locker.

"I won't be able to sell huge amounts within the academy, so I had better find some other way outside. The best scenario would be a black market; I hear prices there are higher too!"

"The outside world is dangerous for an apprentice like me; I must become a Rank 2 Apprentice at least before going out!"

"What's next, I can use the Magic Crystals I earned from selling potions to buy higher-tiered knowledge from Fred, and hasten my breakthrough to Rank 2 Apprentice!" Wade thought.

"After becoming a Rank 2 Apprentice, I can attempt to practice magic spells, and take a mission outside to see if I can find ways to sell the potions.

I will also be able to start my study on my innate talent."

Wade pondered, and then asked, "Abby, bring forth my current stats!"

[Beep! Wade: Rank 1 Apprentice. Strength: 1.5, Agility: 1.5, Vitality: 2.1 Status: Healthy]

"After such a long period of meditation, my Vitality has increased the most. As for Strength and Agility, they have increased a little too. As for my Mental Force?" Wade looked at the data in front of him and his brows furrowed. Even after getting the knowledge from Fred about Souls, it was taking time. He wanted to have an independent way to know his personal data rather than use the ball as this would indirectly reveal his information to the Academy.

"Abby, are you able to convert my Mental Force into data and display it?"

[Data is insufficient. Information for Mental Force is being collated.] Abby replied.

"When will it be ready?" Wade asked.

[Estimated time: 45 Days 11 Hours]

"One and a half months, huh? It is close to when I advance to Rank 2 Apprentice." Wade nodded his head, "I'm not planning to leave in this next half a year, so it's no big deal!"

After saying that he took out the crystal ball from the pouch to inspect his data.

"My spirit has gone past the half lime of the requirements to break through the rank so all I have to do is continue with my daily meditation and collect all the required knowledge before breaking the rank" Making up his plans for the next month Wade went back to his previous schedule.

What followed next was that Wade entered into a state of painstaking training.

Apart from aiding Fred in his daily experiments, he was brewing potions, exchanging them for Magic Crystals, and then purchasing more information
