In the concealed chamber, were not even Queen Era knew about it, King Ash and David engaged in covert training. He is currently 12 years old and has excellent sword skills but poor magic spell-casting abilities. He can name the entire ensemble, but the magic seldom ever manifests itself. King Ash visits his physician to find out about David's health.

"He has an unusual case of flowing mana," the doctor (or physician) remarked. "He has a few levels of mana that couldn't show correctly, and if it shows, it might only be a few flows; after that, count a long time until it shows again."

King Ash questioned, "So, you mean David has a low mana level?"

The Doctor responded, "I didn't say low, it's few. He has a few mana, not enough to utilize all to control or demonstrate magic while casting."

Then, King Ash inquired once again, "What is its remedy?"

"Because it's a natural condition, no one has ever been able to treat it," the doctor said hesitantly.

After hearing all of that terrible news, David is demoralized and has lost hope. Then he stayed in his room the entire time. King Ash is anxious about David and wants to know how he is doing.

The sayings of King Ash, "David... I know that your desire is like mine, to be a king. To be a king is not just to become the mightiest knight or wizard but perhaps, it's about intellect and commitment, your drive and love for your land and its people," are a reference to the desire both David and I share to rule over a nation.

David responded, "Yes, Father, but how can I protect this kingdom if I couldn't protect myself from an assault?"

"Protecting yourself? No, my son, David. You have dependable knights and old friends who will guard you unreservedly for the rest of your life," King Ash said.

David said, "But I want to defend myself because I feel like that's the next step in safeguarding the people here."

"Then, you must obtain a diamond as well as as many crystals as you have acquired and present them to me. "Okay, fine. You didn't have enough mana to perform magic spells or even display it. However, you mastered the sword and even modified it as your own. I will gather all the best magicians in this kingdom and my friends, and together we will forge a sword that only you will be able to use because your blood will flow on it as an oath and it will never break during your whole life. And use it to defend both you and your people," replied King Ash.

David questioned, "So, where do I have to go collect all of these crystals, and what if it breaks, what will you do?"

"Then, collect as many magicians as you like, have them read it, and then offer them money or a higher position," said King Ash. "You have to make sure to memorize all the lines and the methods of producing it."

David questioned, "Father... Do you want to teach me how to become a bribery?"

King Ash grinned and said, "Ahhh... [laugh].. no." We will construct a unique weapon, particularly for you, and I can make it a multi-element sword so you may use it against many formidable foes, even kings. But make sure once you get this sword, you have to master it.

David asks the soldiers of King Ash to begin collecting all the crystals. After that, King Ash and all the greatest magicians assembled to produce a sword, which they successfully made and gave to David.

They named it Lydia's Sword since they had acquired Lydia's precious stone. It has the strength to overthrow gods and goddesses who have been alive for more than a thousand years.

King Ash is able to conceal his genuine emotions thanks to David's phony grin. Even King Ash will lend him a sword, but in his mind, he wonders, "How would I get crystals, especially diamonds in the dungeon and below the dormant volcanoes? I don't have any power to kill monsters.

Even with too many guards, I will drag them down and many of them will be killed. Perhaps I'm not worthy to become a king. I even order my father's soldiers to gather it. How can I become a king in such a powerless and useless body?"

He then flees into a wild woodland, unaware that it was the Forest of Narzia, full of creatures and a perilous dungeon buried inside it.

While running, he sobs because he believes that he is unworthy to become a prince and successor to the throne.

Meanwhile, Giela (Gi-lah), a dark elf race member, has been seriously injured and will die shortly. Giela had been attacked by the Country of Marax, the third greatest wizard kingdom of the Haliya (Hal-ya) Empire. She was an experimental subject with value to this kingdom; they discovered she could manipulate the void spirit, Erzana.

David runs and runs till he becomes lost in the woods. He doesn't know how to get to the Kingdom of Ashera, which is led by his father, King Ash. He relaxes his mind before continuing to search for the direction of his kingdom.

David hears a guy gasping for air as he is walking and taking in the woods. He then notices a race that he has never seen before.

"Who are you, what is your race, why are you hurt?" - David

"Is that your opening greetings, Hu-human, for the injured Dark Elf?" said Giela.

"I don't know you, but how can I help you heal? I don't have the power to cure you, I have an odd case with just a small amount of mana, and I don't even know where my kingdom's direction is, I'm lost. I'm very sorry, Ma'am," David replied, anxious about not being able to help Giela.

" F-few ma-mana?? A-are y-you an Ol- Ol- Olymp-pus? Then, then, I will e-entru-trust you, Er-Erzana.... Erzana.... ", then spoke to Erzana, " Erzana, y-you should tr-transfer your-self i-in this m-man."

"Huh? Because? Giela!! Giela!! Erzana will not really trust this man!!" - Erzana

"I see his h-h-heart, a p-pure h-heart. E-Erzana, tr-transfer now, I-I will indeed be, be d-dead soon." - Giela.

"Ahmmm.... Alright.. Erzana will regrettably move to him." Erzana transfers while sobbing.

Giela is the only one who truly accepts Erzana. Before the ninth war, Erzana was a dark void ghost whose power was wielded by the King of Naiuses (Na-yu-ses), and Naseus (Na-syus), and slaughtered millions of people.

"D-don't be s-sad, Erzana," Giela says, then turns to David and says, "T-take care of E-Erzana. B-be fri-friend wi-with her."

Giela died when Erzana was moving to David. Erzana is sobbing at that moment.

"Erzana, I'm not sure how much you care about Giela, but -," David persuaded Erzana.

But,

"It's Giela!!! She was the only one who embraced me for who I truly am," Erzana sobbed.

"Giela said she wants you and me to be friends," David added. "Wh-what exactly is this?"Erzana uses her ability to see things to tell David about her past.

"I know you're going to hate me now, don't you? I murdered so many people, soldiers, magicians, and even innocent people," Erzana says.

Erzana continues to cry as she mourns Giela's death, saddened by the realization that no one would accept her anymore.

"That wasn't your fault, Erzana; that man dominated and managed you like a puppet, and I saw that, maybe it was a crest, wasn't it? But, I know you didn't want that. You are a nice girl," David persuades her once again.

David strokes her hair. Erzana is a little spirit the size of a hand. Erzana then sobs. She resembles Tinkerbell without the wing. She wears a big white gown and is cheery yet easily irritated. Her thinking, like her appearance, is that of a child.

"Erzana, you know, I'm lost; I don't know where I'm going in my house," David explained.

Erzana gets at ease with David and stops sobbing.

"Right now, Erzana will be your pet," Erzana remarked, drawing David's attention to herself.

"Huh? Pet? Ahh... You are spirit, bigger than I," David said.

"Erzana and alcohol," Erzana explained.

"Are you a child?" David inquired.

"Yes," Erzana said.

"How old are you?" David inquired once again.

Erzana says, "a thousand years old."

[Erzana is 1,763 years old and seems to be a 3 to the 4-year-old infant.]

" Huh?? Are you kidding me? Are you a child for real? You are an older hag than my mother," David surprised.

David didn't know that his mother lives more than Erzana.

"Erzana has been offended by his owner," Erzana wishes to say.

"I-I'm sorry, Erzana," David says, "but I don't want you to become my pet."

"Do you want to forsake me then? Erzana would be heartbroken," Erzana said.

"No.. maybe like a person, like you and Giela," David said.

"Giela and Erzana are friends," Erzana explained, "but Giela still pets Erzana."

"No, like a true buddy. No pet, but a real friend," David convinces her once again.

"Then Erzana isn't a pet, but Erzana is your daughter," Erzana cheerfully said.

"Ahh.. okay. it's fine..." - David, "What???? No... I'm only 12 years old," he thinks, "yet I'm 39 years old in my past."

"Do you despise Erzana?" Erzana asked him while begging.

" Ah.." David is perplexed, but he takes it.

But then David has a brighter idea.

" All right, so you can call me a big bro-," David persuades her.

"Erzana wants to contact Papa, Papa," Erzana says.

" No, Erzana, you must call me, big bro-," David explains to her.

So, Papa despises Erzana, don't you?" Erzana asked him directly.

"You know, Erzana... I'm just 12 years old," David said and thinks, "even though 25 plus 12 is 37 years old."

[NOTE: David, formerly known as Macario on Earth, died at the age of 25. He is now twelve years old. However, the world, Erthas has 1,000 days per year and 50 hours per day, thus if he was alive on Earth, he would be roughly 60 to 70 years old, if not older.]

"But Erzana is only five years old, and Erzana wants Papa... Papa... Papa," Erzana remarked, gleefully adding "Papa" to every word or syllable she said.

[NOTE: Erzana is a kid before she becomes a spirit who is tested and used as a weapon in war. She was just 3 to 4 years old when Olympus adopted her, and Olympus assumed she was over 5 or 6 years old. She became a void spirit after 5 decades, but if she absorbs the void magic, her age will never be tallied again, which means she would never age or develop with her body, and she absorbed it when she was 3 years old. She used 5 years old since Olympus had informed her that if they asked her age, she would reply it always at 5 years old.]

"I'm sorry, but I don't want you to call Pa-," David explains to her.

Erzana, who wants to call him Papa, is likely to cry.

So David decides to accept Erzana's personal view of him.
