The Strange

I never had fast food before and it was so good to eat. Carly and Scarlet actually saw me get so excited after I had my first bit of a hamburger. After we left the restaurant we were talking about all kinds of stuff and laughing about it a little bit.

Then my head began to throb, so I closed my eyes and what I saw scared me to my wits. The smell of my roommates and other people turned into the shapes of them and where they were going.

Suddenly I smelled something coming right at us, I opened my eyes and rushed in front of them... I yelled, "GET BACK!!"

All of a sudden everything went black and everything felt like a blur. I couldn't hear anything when I was slowly waking up and all I saw was my roommates panicking and Carly was screaming at something. Soon enough I black out again not remembering what had happened.

When I woke up again I was in the hospital with an IV tube in my hand, my left arm bandage also covered with some blood and a breathing tube in my nose. I heard a heart monitor beeping, the sound of oxygen going in the tube and someone talking outside of the room with someone else.

The door opened and my aunt came in a little upset about me.

"Rena do you remember anything that had happened?" she said, placing her hand on the bed rail when she saw me awake.

"Aunt Raven, I'm sorry... no I don't remember anything than being with my roommates," I said looking away from her.

My aunt left the room afterwards, but I heard yelling and arguing about me and then I heard Raven crying.

I thought to myself, 'What had happened to me back there?'
