A Chaotic Night And Edward's Sudden Marriage Proposal

Are you alright?" 

"I am" 

The door to her room suddenly flung open, Ethan stepped in, with a hard look on his face. 

Seraphina quickly hung up and hid her phone under the pillow, she had been on the phone with Sebastian. 

"What do you want?" She asked

Ethan walked closer to where she was, his eyes looking around the room.

"You are my wife now, so you need to move into my room and be in the same bed with me," he said. 

"I don't want to," Seraphina replied, curtly. 

Be in the same space with Ethan that much, she would not!

"I'm not asking you! It's an order from your husband" he stated, aloud and commanding. 

"You are trying so hard to be like your father, but you are nothing but a maniac" Seraphina uttered fearlessly, 

A deep frown emerged on Ethan's face.

"Ahhh,let me go!!" Seraphina started to yell, as Ethan tightly gripped her hair. 

"I know you had something to do with Dorcas suddenly showing up at the wedding, you little brat!!" Ethan spat out, he tightened his grip on seraphina's hair, seraphina struggled to loosen his tight grip on her hair but to no avail.

She gasped out loudly as Ethan was suddenly struck from behind and immediately fell on the bed.

Serena Coleman.

"is..is he dead?" Serena asked, frightened, her hands still tightly gripped on the handle of the frypan she had used to hit Ethan on the head. You could literally see the shape of Ethan's head on it.

"I don't..I don't know" Seraphina replied, completely appalled, her eyes still widened in shock.

Why did Serena help her? 

How did she even know that Seraphina needed help? 

"How did you know?" Seraphina asked as she slowly climbed down from the bed. 

"Well, I..I was in the kitchen and I heard noises"

"Oh my God!" Gabriela gasped out barely audible,she rushed into the room giving Serena and Seraphina a little freight. 

"Are you okay?" Gabriela quickly asked, her gaze on Seraphina, Seraphina gave a nodd.

Gabriela looked at Ethan, face down on the bed, then at Serena still holding the frypan up in the air like she was about strucking someone else. 

"Is he dead?" Gabriela asked, her gaze back to Ethan.

"he..he can't be, right?" Serena asked with fright, her voice shaky. 

"You might want to put that down" Gabriela said to shaky Serena, she just did not feel comfortable with the way Serena was still holding the frypan up in the air.  

"Ok" Serena dropped the fry pan on the table in the room.

Gabriela moved closer to Ethan, she slowly placed a hand beneath his nose to check if he was still breathing, and yes, he was. 

"Unfortunately, he is not dead yet" she uttered.

Seraphina let out an audible sigh of relief.

"Oh..Thank God!!" Serena was loud. 

"shh, keep your voice down. We still don't know how to make him wake up. And even if he does, you will be in a lot of trouble." Seraphina said, she sounded a little irritated.

"I'm his father's mistress, he wouldn't dare lay a finger on me" Serena uttered confidently, there was no longer fright in her eyes.

Gabriela gave a scoff, she turned, to fully face Serena.

"Oh really!. Then why did he bring you here, just to be a caregiver to his wife who got shot by your sister" 

"That's enough guys, please!" Seraphina finally said.

She had been still, just watching them.

"Serena, thank you for helping me," Seraphina said. "How did you know to come here?" she asked Gabriela.

"Sebastian called. He was worried at how you suddenly ended the call with him" Gabriela replied and regretted she did instantly.

Seraphina had warned her not to make mention of Sebastian's name in the house, no matter what. 

Serena stared at them both, a slight confusion etched on her face. Obviously, wondering who this Sebastian was.

"Um.. let's get Ethan to his room, shall we?" Seraphina quickly suggested, to divert the attention. 

Serena and Gabriela gave a nod.

Morning came.

Ethan groaned loudly as he woke up. 

His head hurt, he closed his eyes, and held his head as he struggled to sit up.

How did he get here? 

What happened last night?

He remembered being in Seraphina's room and grabbing her hair but that was all. He could not remember anything else. 

He tried to stand up on his feet but fell back on the bed, his body felt weak. 

"Uhhhhhh" he groaned loudly, frustrated, wondering what happened after in Seraphina's room.

"Sir, your father wants to see you" A maid said, aloud, from the other side of the door.

"I'm on my way" he replied, not sure if she even heard him.

Edward was seated in the living room.

Serena wore a poker face, she stood at a corner, with her arms folded over her chest. 

Ethan slightly glanced at her as he walked over to where his father sat.

"You called?" Ethan asked as he was about to sit.

"Don't sit!" Edward commanded, his voice firm. "Go and pay a visit to your mother in the  hospital, and take her with you" Edward uttered, a finger momentary pointed at Serena whose face now wore a deep frown.

"I can go alone" Ethan said, he made to walk away.

"Don't you dare!." Edward's loud voice vibrated through the living room.

"She will be your mother in law soon, so treat her like one" Edward stated.

Ethan was astounded, so was Serena, who couldn't believe her ears and then Gabriela who was as usual, eavesdropping. she placed her hand on her open mouth, shocked.

"Father!" Ethan called, a deep frown appeared on his face, his hands clenched in a tight fist.

"After the hospital, take her to the company and show her around" Edward went on

Ethan let out a gasp.

"This is so stupid" he uttered, then walked away.

Serena moved closer to where he sat, 

"I won't be getting married to you" She said to him, her tone low

Edward stared at her sternly.

"Either you do or your sister spends the rest of her life in jail" he said to Serena's shock.

Gabriela also let out another gasp...
