The interview

"Yes."

"Great. Let's start."

"Okay."

The interview had already begun. I don't know why I'm nervous. I just feel something isn't right here. I looked around, and smiled at the people inside the shooting area.

"So, Ms. Sophia?" host initiation. I looked at him with a smile.

"Yes?"

"We know that, as a model, you need to maintain your body figure." I nodded my head as I heard the question.

"So, are there any secrets you can share with your fans, Ms. Sophia?" I looked at the camera and smiled broadly.

"All I can say is a proper diet and work out. Those are the only things I do to maintain my body figure. It was hard at first, but if you are really determined to maintain your figure, you can do it. We all can," I replied with a smile while looking at the camera.

I could also clearly see Angie, who was giving me thumbs up. I smiled at her while shaking my head. I looked back at the host.

"There are some questions online, Ms. Sophia. Is it okay to answer five questions from your fans?"

"Sure!"

"This question is from Eliza. She said, what are your secrets to keeping your flawless and clear skin?" the host asked.

"I wash my face regularly and get some 8 hours' sleep, I guess," they chuckle, and so do I.

"Second question. Do you have a boyfriend right now?"

"No. I don't,"

"But have you dated a lot of men?"

"No. I don't."

"Third question. What is your ideal man?"

"My ideal man is... Have a good appearance, but most likely. I liked men who had good characters. A good man that can accept me for who I truly am."

"That's a nice answer, Ms. Sophia. You're looking for someone who has a kind and good heart."

"Fourth question. Have you got plastic surgery?" I was too stunned to speak as that question flashed on the screen. I was unable to move, and I couldn't even know why I couldn't. I felt my heartbeat raised while I was looking at the screen. I couldn't afford to look at the screen again. I felt weak, and the last thing I knew, I saw black and I collapsed.

When I opened my eyes, Angie was the first thing I saw. She was sitting beside me while looking at me. "Thank God, you're awake." I looked around, and I realized that I was in the hospital. "Why am I here? What am I doing here?" I asked her.

"Ms. Sophia, you need to rest. You seemed tired and-"

"What happened to the interview?"

"It ended early because you collapsed," she answered me, honestly.

"I'm sorry," I apologized.

"You don't need to apologize. Your health is more important than that interview anyway," she said to me.

"Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for always being with me throughout this time."

I never thought that someone could be with me and accept me for who I am. "Thank you for accepting me, Angie."

"You're welcome, and you don't have to thank me almost every day. Just what I said to you, I am always here for you."

"By the way."

"Yes?"

"Someone had invited you to a local charity foundation. He wanted to meet you and be there," she said to me, causing me to frown and narrow my eyes.

"Who?"

"It's Mr. Grayson," she said.

"Who is that?"

"Wait... Didn't you know him?"

"No, why? Do I have to?"

"Woah, you're unbelievable. He's a billionaire, and he wanted to meet you in person to discuss and cooperate with him on this charity," Angie uttered, and she seemed like to be idolizing Grayson or whatever.

"I'll think about it," I said to her, and it caused her to frown.

"Think about it? Just say yes al;ready," she seemed excited while looking and waiting for my response.

Angie blinked her eyes at me several times. I sighed, "Alrifht. I'll meet him," I said, and she smiled broadly.

"Thank you, Ms. Sophia. I'll tell his secretary immediately."

"Yes, do what you want."

I was scrolling on my phone and I watched my latest interview, but there were a lot of negative comments about me. They were discussing plastic surgery. "What are they talking about behind my back? These people..." I stopped myself from cursing those people, because they are still my fans.

I tossed my phone back at my bed, and sighed. "What happened?"

"Nothing. I just want to go home now."

"We can, but it's tomorrow morning. The doctor said."

"Ah, I see." I started closing my eyes and fell asleep immediately.

The sun rose, and the sunlight went inside my room. I opened my eyes, and saw Angie fixing my things and looked at me, "We can go home now," she said to me.

"Alright. Let's go."

I started walking out, but unfortunately, as we went outside, there were a lot of reporters outside the hospital. Angie looked at me as if she was surprised at what had happened.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that there were reporters here," she said to me.

"Ms. Sophia? Is it true that you did surgery to achieve that face?" a reporter asked me, but I kept on walking towards my van, but they cornered us, and we didn't have any way to get out there. I looked down, as the camera lights made my eyes hurt. I was covering my ears.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Sophia. Those reporters weren't here earlier," she kept apologizing to me.

I was still looking down while covering my ears, when suddenly an arm wrapped around me and started pulling me away from the reporters. I was walking with someone I didn't know. I had no other choice, and I followed him for me to avoid those damn reporters. Someone opened a car door and I went inside.

"You can look up now. They're gone," a man's voice opened to me. I raised my head and saw a good-looking man with brownish and semi-curly hair.

"W-Who are you? Why did you help me back there?" he looked at me and smiled.

"You didn't know me?" I shook my head, and he laughed.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes? Why? Should I know you?"

He scoffed, "You really are different. I'm Andriel Maniza," he introduced himself, and when I heard his last name, I didn't have any other clue who he was.

"Maniza?"

"Yes. Do you know me now?"

"No. I still don't."

"Hey! How could you forget about me," he seemed pissed and annoyed.

"Who are you? I really don't know you. So, please tell me."

"I met you by chance at a party in the USA. You don't remember? Michael?"

I looked at him closely, and suddenly my lips slid upwards, "Oh, right. I remember you now. You were that guy."

"Yes, I am that guy."

I looked at him as I remember him now. He was that guy who helped me back there in the USA. I can't forget how he helped me that night as I was about to embarrass myself. I smiled at him, "Thank you for helping me that night. I never had the chance to thank you properly as I left so early that day to catch up with my flight," I said.

"It's okay. You're welcome," he replied.

"I'll get going then," I was about to go out when he stopped me. He held my wrist, which caused me to look at him. "What are you doing?"

"I'll drop you at your house. There are a lot of reporters right now, and you can't be seen," I nodded my head, and then went back to my seat, putting on the seatbelt.

I was on my phone and texted Angie. She was already at home, waiting for me. I scrolled on the website and I am the top searches again. I took a deep breath and turned off my phone.

"What happened?" Andriel asked me.

"Nothing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

We arrived at the house. Andriel then opened the door for me, which was not necessary. I smiled at him, "Thank you for helping me again, today."

"You're welcome."

I saw Angie come out of the house and looked at us with a big frown, "Ms. Sophia? We need to get going now," she said to me, and I nodded my head, walking towards the gate. I never looked back and walked straight.

When I was inside, Angie then looked at me with narrowed eyes, "Who is he? Why did he suddenly show up? You're at the top of searches again, Ms. Sophia."

"I know. I saw it."

"You saw it?"

"Yes."

"People are talking about that guy as your boyfriend. You saw it, and it's okay with you?"

"W-What? Boyfriend?"

"Here," Angie then showed me the photo of me and Andriel together as it said that he was my boyfriend. I scoffed and closed my eyes. "I don't like those rumors anymore. I can't handle them."

"Don't worry. I can handle them."

"Really?"

"Yes, it's my job. So, it's too easy for me to handle things like these."
