The Speech

AUTHOR'S P.O.V:

After Ethen exited the audience, Arthur Vrisorid speech continued.

"Today is the start of a new era in this continent we call home. I assume many of you are aware of the existing problems between the Humans and the Elves while even the Dwarves were considered just business partners."

"However, that is not how we intend to proceed. Over the last few years, representatives from all three kingdoms...your leader have met numerous times in an attempt to unite our races. We agreed seven years ago that all three races would be able to become adventurers. It began with only one or two representatives, but it has since grown. It makes me happy to see groups of humans, elves, and dwarves all working together to achieve a common goal. Atlas Academy and the other Academies in Vrisorid welcomed students from the Kingdom of Woodrow and the Kingdom of Dragruel last five years, allowing the new generation of mages to make friends and memories with all three races. And the same happened in the Woodrow Kingdom as well as Dragruel Kingdom!"

"We all understand how difficult it may be for some of us to adjust after years of animosity. We urge you, however, to let go of the past and any prejudices you may have, and to think beyond that, if not for yourself, but for your children and the future of this continent."

There was a loud round of applause, followed by a roar of worship and adoration. King Arthur Vrisorid sat down and Bairon Woodrow, King of Woodrow the Elven Kingdom, got up from his seat and cleared his throat before speaking into this world's version of what appeared to be a microphone with Sound amplifying mana crystal.

"It is an honor to speak on behalf of everyone present on this historic day. As King Vrisorid so emphatically stated, I, too, am optimistic about the future of our continent. This may not be of interest to some, but for those seeking adventure and new places to visit, I can confidently state that this continent is rife with unknowns. One obvious example is the Deep Forests that exist just beyond our borders of Elven Mountains and Elven Forests."

"While countless adventurers have ventured into the Deep Forests, it is not an exaggeration to say that only half of it has been traversed. While the mana beasts have not yet left the Deep Forests, who is to say that just because they haven't yet means they will never? Even in our own Aderon, there are places so dangerous that no one dares to explore them, but what if I told you that even greater mysteries and dangers await you?"

King Woodrow paused for a brief moment while the crowd in Aldir and the crowd here in the City Square of Atlas filled with the sound of murmurs.

"That's right! We have encountered the Demon realm's gate within the Deep Forests!"

The crowds erupted into a clamor of noises, some angry, some afraid, but everyone curious.

"However, we also noticed that the gates are closed and not been opened. The continent would never be put in danger. However, I must warn adventurer's to not to venture more inside and inform the Adventurers Guild near by if anyone see a demon outside!"

Still the crowed was enraged and terrified on hearing. However, they calmed down seeing King Arthur's confident smile. Its like their King will protect them no matter what.

"Please. We ourselves don't know very much, so your guess is as good as ours. There have been evidence of them trying to reach us as well, but on both sides, it seems that our current technology does not permit us to travel that far, and no ordinary being or even demons could pull the gates open, even if its more people would to try. Our Continent's specialized military forces has been set up at the shadows, So I say people. Don't worry. This is our continent and as long as we are here, no body can stop us from protecting our lands!"

The crowd shown in the Capital was in chaos until the King Arthur rose from his chair and trotted towards the microphone.

"People! Please maintain silence. We have another speaker waiting to speak!"

As soon as King Arthur said, the people calmed down and once again started to watch the program as the dwarven King rose up and began his speech.

"My name is Korgith Dragruel, and I am the King of the Dragruel Kingdom, also known as the Dwarven Kingdom. We don't know much, as both kings stated. However, in these times of uncertainty and potential future threats, wouldn't you all agree that standing together is best for this continent and our people? Your children may also be in danger. We don't want to be fighting amongst ourselves. Our appearances and cultures may differ, but remember...we were all born on the continent of Aderon. That makes me proud, and I hope that future generations will feel the same way. I hope you all feel the same way!"

The audience was initially deafeningly quiet, but a couple of claps elicited a massive round of applause, with cheers and whistles erupting. The Dwarf King's words were not as eloquent as those of the previous two kings, but they had a powerful impact.

As the dwarf king finished his speech, Arthur Vrisorid rose from his seat and began to speak.

"And one more thing, folks. The process of bringing our three races and kingdoms together will take time and effort, but today, we, the Trinity Council of Aderon. This year, the Aderon Magic Competition, in which only humans competed for all these years, will include students from all of the continent's magic academies, with each academy having five outstanding student mages."

"So, Students, work hard to win! We are expecting great things from all of you!"

When they heard that, the crowd erupted, and many people began throwing flowers and their hats into the air. As the crowd in Atlas began to scream in delight.

As the image of the announcement faded, the four orbs that formed the projection's corners floated down with the bad and good news. "Long live the Kings, long live Aderon!" was the last thing we heard.
