CHAPTER 8

Excited is the word am super excited .

Am overwhelmed today their will be a mini me not really a mini me but a genius whose a kid and my sister.

I have been waiting for this day.

Mum's make up artist is coming to disguise her.

I have been pretty busy preparing for the next conference cause I will be announced as the next heir to Relins company .

Sam is locked in a room with no lights it's so dark and I kinda like it . She's scared I'll be starting her torture soon she must tell me why she did it all.

Maddie and I still talk we haven't met properly since the day she pecked my lips I think she is embarrassed , I really don't understand why she is embarrassed "

"Xandra are you done dressing" My mum shouted from the other room .

"An almost done mama"

At first I wanted us to adopt a kid in another continent but we've found out that theirs a foster school for kids who have high IQ and they are from all over the world so I think it will be great to have one of them as our own.

Mum thinks it would be better to be with a kid with high IQ for she will understand us easier and when I say us I mean me. I personally think I am the most simple person to understand and I am not complicated like mum but what do I have to say mothers are always right.

I go get mum and she looks completely different she's with a greyish wig , wrinkles on her face and some baggy clothes she looked so awkward I hope it will be worth it.

"You look so..." I couldn't find the right word so I just didn't finished it my mum was looking at me laughing her ass off.

She really looks extremely weird.

My phone vibrated so I checked and found a message from Maddie

Hey princess can we meet today night

I replied immediately

No we can't till next week, this week I will be extremely busy .

So this is my week routine

Monday which was yesterday I was locked up with a prick.

Tuesday which is today I am gonna look for my lil sister .

Wednesday am starting my potrait.

Thursday am finishing up my potrait.

Friday am presenting my potrait in the gallery then am announced as the heir

And also in between the free time we will be preparing my sister speech and teach her a few things.

We went in the car with my mum

. We were silent in the car not the akward silence but the comfortable one we were both busy doing different things I was checking somethings in my phone while my mum was finishing her work in her laptop

After thirty minutes we arrived in a foster care it was quite big but not that big. It had a huge gate written 'ST PAULS HOME FOR THE BLESSED'

I had looked up in the internet for this school the main reason it has a lot of genius kids it's because other foster cares cannot cater for somethings in education this care does it's a great foster care and it's also religious although am not a religious person am glad my sister is from a good background like this .

The gateman asked for our names so that he can record it down we gave him our 'names' and went in.

Some kids were playing outside and others were under trees reading it looked so magical and nice .

One of the nuns came and ushered us to the office .

"Hello am sister Catherine am one of the heads in this care what is your main agenda today" She smiled sweetly looking at us.

My mum looked at me in a question manner I nodded my head then spoke

"We've come to donate some money and maybe if we're in luck we will get a young girl to adopt"

"Oh thanks but theirs no need is this your grandmother " she asks motioning to my mother I just smiled I think she said no need cause we look less fortunate or something I really don't get it.

"We insist " my mum said .

"Ok how much" Sister Catherine asked.

"Forty thousand dollars" I said .

She looked kinda surprised but before she spoke my mama interfered and said " I'll be giving sixteen thousand dollars" okay I never knew were giving this differently but it's okay.

"We don't have a lot of time so I'd like if you just bring us any girl whose talkative respectful and a genius" My mum added like what the fuck that's allot to ask I thought we'll be staying here playing with kids till we find the right one but what mother says i follow no arguments maybe she has a lot in mind RightNow that I don't know about. Should I read her thoughts or let it be.No am sure she'd tell me later.

"That's alot to ask madam and I don't think you'd have time for a kid if you don't have time to look for one" that's like abusing my mama I should step up right now" Excuse me Sister Catherine but she is my mother she has taken care of me since I was young till now and I need a sister so can you go bring one." I said

"Okay just wait for five minutes" Sister Catherine left .

None of us spoke.

After a while sitter came in with a young blonde girl.

" Madam this is Amanda , Amanda can you say hi" Sister Catherine said.

"Hello my next is Amanda and am eight years" she smiled broadly .

I smiled back . "Where are the adoption applications so I can sign it"

"That's not how we do it I first have to check if you are living in a peaceful place and a childlike environment"

The sister said.

" Do I look like I I have the time" Mama asked I really don't know why Mama's attitude is changing I even think Amanda is scared .

Mama whispered something in the sisters ear I think it's shaken her out.

The Sister brought the applications and stamped it I took it. "Amanda go pack only your valuable things be in the packing lot in 10"I said. With that we left to the packing lot .

"Damn mum you were rude" she just looked at me and shrugged. Like what the fuck is that .

Amanda came with nothing like totally nothing no locket in her neck or teddy bear or anything typica just her like that the only difference was she had changed clothes. I bet I'll love her.

We entered the car and I took the back seat with her .

"I love your hair can I dye mine blue" she asked .

"Don't I like your hair" I protested I really like her blonde hair she has  blue eyes with a grey rim.

"So I can't dye my hair" she asked

"Baby you can if you want to" my mum answered is she on periods or something .

"Yay " she said then gave my mum a questioning look "What" she said

"I thought you were rude and bad" My mum groaned "No am not that was just an act if you want things to be done to you sometimes you have to be rude" Okay this is not something to tell a kid . No , it's like telling a kid it's good to be violent." She doesn't mean that , don't be violent" I told my new sister. I just hope we will be the best of sisters
