Bringing the Troops.

Following the fact that very few pantheons had seen something about what was to come, very few began to prepare. The ones who did see what was coming were on total alert.

The poor oracle who clawed her own eyes out and had her soul consumed by Khorne managed to get only those words out before her death.

"Skulls for the skull throne, Blood for the Blood God. Souls for the Soul lord."

They knew it would involve two different beings, a so-called god of Blood and Skulls and a Soul Lord. It was nerve-wracking to know that the reign of the gods which had gone on might come to an end in just a few short centuries.

Their pride could not accept something so foolish so they began a giant manhunt for the so-called Soul Lord. Too bad they were looking in the wrong place as Adrian was in the Underworld, not Earth. Even so, he was not just waiting for them to hunt him down.

He was already informed by his lovely possible system waifu and his big brother.

<Warning, Prophesy has been read about the host. As you are an anchor to Khorne and this world so he protected you. As you share a common link through a shared master he interfered on your behalf. He expects a favor in return.>

Adrian raised an eyebrow as he looked at this prompt. He looked up at the sky and kneeled.

'I shall repay this favor Khorne.'

<Khorne requests grander alter. Make it big enough so the realm of Khorne may bleed into this world.>

-Grand Quest was established.

<Khorne the God of Blood and Skulls is interested in this world and wishes to annex it to his realm. You, as his junior is tasked with bringing him and his armies to this world.>

-Reward 1: A Bloodthirster shall be given to you. You may have it possess one of your weapons, you, or one of your demons to offer the power of the Greater Demon to it.

-Reward 2: Ascension to Demon Prince.

Adrian scoffed at the latter offer

'Thanks for the offer, I will take the Bloodthirster, but not the second one. Nice try.'

<Khorne does not hide his intentions. He wants your service.'

Adrian closed the system prompt and looked at his gacha system for a bit. He wanted to gamble, but there was a better time to do so. When no one could see his tears.

Seraphine shivered as whenever he spoke to Khorne she felt like knives were in her back. She was fairly outspoken about her lack of trust or faith in Khorne.

"Were you contacted by Khorne again? I don't trust him."

Adrian sighed as he looked at her.

"Maybe not, but he does not lie. If he will betray me he will do it to my face. With him, we do not need to fear being backstabbed. He is the god of martial honor after all."

She still was not fully convinced. Sure he was the god of honor, but he was also the god of Blood, Skulls, war, rage, and Bloodlust. All negatives compared to his one positive.

Lathia had never heard of Khorne, but she could swear she felt as if razor blades were running across her back. When she touched her back she did not feel anything. All it was, was her instinct telling her to flee or kneel in servitude.

"Who is Khorne? Just saying that name is terrifying."

Adrian looked up and smiled as he knew the more people know about Khorne, the easier his job will be.

"Have you heard of what an apostle is?"

Lathia nodded as she remembered reading about them.

"They are mortals chosen by gods to receive a large amount of their might in exchange for servitude. Why?"

Adrian pointed at himself with a slight frown.

"I guess you can call me that in a way. Khorne is a god that serves her the same as I do. To pray all one needs to do is kill. That is the path of Death. She is the goddess of Death after all."

Lathia was interested as any god of death was powerful.

"What pantheon is she from?"

Adrian chuckled at her small thinking. She was bigger than that.

"None, at least that I know off. I only met her once after all and it was after I died."

Artorias looked at him with interest as he did not talk about the gods much.

"What does she look like? Like Nito?"

Adrian shook his head as he remembered those piercing eyes of hers. Still looks like he would catch perma death if he thought of anything lewd about her. As such he became a monk when he thought of her and recited a mantra he knew.

'No horny. Bonk dog protect me, at this moment.'

He coughed and spoke about her.

"She looks like a 13-year-old girl wearing black armor and sitting on a black throne. Just hearing her speak nearly made my soul shatter. She acted as if it was a mistake, but I know better. It was a demonstration of what she could do. Even now remembering those words makes my mind ache."

Lathia felt it was normal as gods were known to take forms that suited them. She thought this goddess just preferred to look young. She was underestimating her as she was thinking with this world's limits in mind.

Adrian knew better from the small amount of information he knew about her. She was that she was at the very minimum eldritch like being. If that was the case she would be at insane levels of power.

One thing he did know was that as long as beings were dying and killing, she was being prayed to and empowered. That gave her all the time in existence to train, research, and raise powerful beings for her service.

Khorne had been under her control since he formed in the Immiterium. He was one of her decently favored for the vast wars he waged, but she would prefer if he could use strategy. As such, she was making him a little smarter than normal.

Rushing into melee was great if you were strong enough for it. Her favored one was still growing stronger and could already destroy planets many times over with pure brute force. She had been very clear about that.

Adrian stopped thinking of all the headache-inducing stuff and decided to do what he had intended to do for a while. He whistled and called Moxaura and Kalameet who hung around him.

"Seraphine, get ready. I think it is time for us to bring in the rest of the army."

Seraphine understood what he was trying to do.

"When all of them are here the magic will start to change them. Not to mention that it will make this construction quicker. Good idea."

Adrian nodded.

"Yes, I think it is time for us to start to strengthen the rest of them. Logan is going to love to talk to Lathia."

Seraphine sighed thinking of that guy. He was still going through the knowledge of Seath and had created so many spells from it. His small group of student mages was all just as crazy as him for magic.

They would for sure be interested in this world's magic even the alchemists would want to use these world monsters for their potions. All in all this world was a treasure trove.

Just as his two pets landed behind him he smiled and took a deep breath. Seraphine covered her ears as Adrian's booming voice erupted out.

"GRAND MEETING NOW!"

Lathia could swear her eardrums just popped. Now she was dizzy, but she shook her head to get it out. Behind Adrian both giant creatures landed which made him smile.

He loved pets especially when they were deadly creatures that could lay waste to cities. He reached out and pet both of them. He jumped on the back of Maxaura and had her take off into the sky.

"Take me to Amara."

The giant Manticore flew toward the still sleeping dragon who was being guarded by Scorn and Devastator. Both dragons were awake again as they were not going through nearly as many changes as she was.

When she landed he jumped of her back as he walked toward Amara. She was his favorite of them all call it favoritism, but she was special. He kneeled in front of her face and placed his hand on her scales.

Both Scorn and Devastator looked at him, but they had no worry that he would harm their mother. That happening was the same as Khorne and Slannesh falling in love. It would never happen as much as Khorne hated his younger being.

Adrian shook his head as he focused on his system and opened up a portal to the world of Dark Souls.

"Moxaura, Kalameet, follow me."

Both of them followed behind Adrian as he had opened up a portal in the equivalent of the Town Square. It was the largest open space in the city so it was big enough for his two pets.

The sky was pitch black with no stars, but Anor Londo was far from dark. He smiled as he saw his street lights work just as he intended. For the last year, he had set up magic streetlights that burned brightly.

They were so good at it that even in the age of dark still lit up the entire Fortress City. Even now guards still patrolled the city and giants sat as centuries on the rooftops. When the guards saw him they ran to him and kneeled at his feet.

"My lord, you have returned."

Adrian looked down at the small group of guards and saw they were mostly humans with some undead among them. The giants were perfect archers, but some among them were warriors.

Adrian nodded as he looked at the one at the head of the group. It was a knight who had a greatsword at his side.

"I want you to start to call forth a great meeting. Everyone is welcome, even the citizens. More importantly, I want the army, all of them."

The knight stood up and looked at his small group with him.

"You heard the lord, let's go."

They all rushed off to start what Adrian wanted. He did not have to wait long as those guys he sent off were screaming their heads off that the king was back. As such people began to move toward the square to see him.

Before they arrived Adrian jumped on the back of Moxaura and went toward her head. He sat down there as and had her stand up so he would be visible to all the people.

Adrian noticed Gough, Logan, Theobald along with all of the new members of the Fume Knights. They were easily visible as they stood much bigger than most humans. The exception was Theobald, but strangely he was still growing.

'Maybe all those potions and hydra soup are doing him some good.'

Adrian coughed as he addressed the giant gathering of the people below.

"All of you know who I am, I am Adrian current Lord of Anor Londo. All of you know that the sky has gone dark. This is the age of Dark so the curse of the undead is done."

All of the Undead in the army were still animated, but they no longer could come back after death. However, Adrian was going to create a massive bonfire on Earth so he could have his immortal troops back.

"Not to worry, I have a way to return your undying state. For now, it is time for us to leave this decaying world. We no longer need to remain here where the world is either all dark or cursed."

This set off cheers after cheers as Adrian was telling them this world could be left behind. From Sorcerers pyromancers, knights, assassins, alchemists, and even the normal people they were excited.

As long as they followed Adrian they knew that he would lead them to greatness. Oh, he had plans for them all, Khorne was waiting for his alter and Adrian was going to deliver.

He also had to make a new demon so when he got his Bloodthirster it would truly be a perfect host. So many plans were coming together, but for now, it was this first one.

<Bring Anor Londo out?>

"Do it."

Adrian felt the souls drain from his huge stockpile and the energy wrapped around all of the giant fortresses. A large dome went around as this would be bumpy. This would not be instant as it had to be carefully done.

He was also going to go and bring with him the other kingdoms he saw. All of their armies were stronger than normal humans so they would truly benefit to be in the DxD world.

All in all, he had set up the start of a grand empire he had to name. Things for later, for now, it was time to start the foundation. He sat down on the head of Moxauraeven a simple act like that made the people revere him more.

Only he and the Fume Knights could tame such beasts of true power. What more could their lord do?

'Thank you, pretty girl. Just having you did me some good.'

She snarled and agreed to the praise. That unfortunately launched her acidic drool which fell in front of the crowd but did not touch them. They all backed away, but that just made them even prouder of their lord.

Only he could control such a beast.

Time for some of the Kingdome building.
