Chapter 23

The snow-white ears twitched as they heard the balcony door.

"V?" Suni rubbed her eyes.

"Oh, did I wake you up?"

"uh- yeah, but you didn't sleep?" She got up from the bed and walked towards him, tripping in between.

"I couldn't-" He replied as he caught her in his arms. "Be careful, dumbass."

"Why? Are you still worried?"

"Of course I am." He sulked and hugged her tightly rocking both of them back and forth. "There are only two options- the first one is that all the treasure-seeking people forget about dark shadows or the second one- I just kill all of them."

The omega gasped, "You wouldn't do that."

"Maybe I will if they hurt you." He breathed out.

"It is going to be okay!" The short girl tried to cheer him up. "There's going to be a day when we both live happily and peacefully. We just have to work a little too hard for that." She smiled.
