NIGHT DANCE SHOWDOWN (FINAL CHAPTER)

While Natalya was relentlessly pressing Ruby's head down hoping to crush it to bits, James scurried over to the red stone Sabrina left behind. He touched it and almost immediately, his location changed as he fell into a deep almost endless abyss.

He screamed in fear till he fell to the bottom. He grunted in pain as he stood up and looked around, he was in some sort of futuristic room with several machines and screens. He looked around and saw a show glass with several mannequins wearing armors inside.

He looked around in curiosity, he was confused as he didn't know where he was.

"She loved Ruby so much" Sabrina said from behind.

James turned around in fear facing Sabrina, he didn't expect anyone to exist in such a strange room.

"I thought you got killed a whole ago....." James said out of shock 😲.

"Call me Buju....the intelligent life form that controls the Jobi Stone."

"So.... you're not the girl who got killed?" James asked scratching his head.

"I took the form of the stone's former Herald.....it's a usual thing.....you see, I can be anything...I can be anyone 😊" Buju replied as she morphed into Ruby, then into a goat, then into a cow and then into James, Buju took James' form temporarily but with a different shirt.

"Oh😲"

"Why am I here?" James asked.

"You ask the wrong questions police chief....the right question should be where is this place" Buju replied

"This place is called the Chixiron...." Buju said.

"Chixiron 😐" James muttered.

"Chixiron....a Jobi word which translates to the Monitor....in english." Buju explained further.

"I'm confused 🤔" James replied.

"Okay now....I never told the other Heralds this.....I never told any human what I am about to tell you....there will be dangerous consequences to knowing what I am about to tell you. Do you accept the risks?" Buju asked for consent.

James was silent for a second, he rummaged his thoughts for an answer

"I accept"

"Excellent....I knew you had guts.....I always take a liking to those who have guts. Okay so....here it is. This world isn't the only world that exists..."

"There are countless other worlds.....thousands.....an infinite amount of worlds..."

"Like the multiverse in science fiction movies?" James interrupted with a question.

"Yes...except for the fact that this isn't science fiction. It's real. These worlds are stacked up on each other like sandwiches and to breach the gap between each one, you need great power....among this infinite amount of worlds, there exists one....the AKAGON....the world of the Jobi. The Jobi are also living creatures but to keep living, they need to consume other living creatures.... especially those that live on Terra worlds.."

"Terra worlds?⚫

"Terra worlds are worlds that contain air, water, soil and life....the Jobi have existed for millions of years and they have been surviving by eating up Terra worlds and all the life in it. They do so by infiltration, expansion and.... the last one"

"Destruction"

"You catch on pretty quick.... Destruction. They infiltrate by sending the stone....the Jobi stone which some Heralds have adapted to calling it Nuclear Soda. It possesses an infinite amount of energy, binds with it's human host and grant's them super abilities.....these abilities will therefore be exploited by me through the Chixiron, the monitor room, I can take over anyone who binds with the stone and cause uttermost destruction to the world. I am ultimately connected to all the Stone's fragments....."

"But why didn't you take over Ruby's mind?" James asked.

"Just like how I didn't give commands to Jared, Joe, Kennedy, and Shade to cause chaos....I didn't give commands to Ruby for the same reason..."

"What reason?"

"Competition...Saint Balam the Jobi King loves competition... he wants to watch good fight against the so called evil, he considers it entertainment....while good Heralds fight against bad Heralds....chaos ensues and great energy is generated, Saint Balam will feed on this energy and break a hole through the barrier that separates your Terra world from AKAGON....."

"Expansion" Joe muttered, he was finally piecing together what Buju had been saying.

"Yes expansion occurs and Saint Balam will climb down into your world along with his armies of Jobi, then he will destroy you all including the Heralds.....he will feed on you and the world eating cycle will continue" Buju concluded.

"Let me guess....the stone is probably binding with me right now...right?" James asked.

"Yes....and I will not command you to cause chaos....you will save Ruby from dying today....deepens the plot and makes my king happy 😁...note....I have the power to kill you all, I have the power to make you all go wild....I have the power to make you all stay good....I will retreat back into the shadows for now and let's things play out the way you want. Soon....I'll take away everyone's choices...soon I'll execute you all"

Buju began to glitch and disappear like some corrupt code.

"Oh and I told you there would be a consequence for telling you right...😊....well you gladly accepted so here's the consequence. I'll take your only son....." Buju said with a brilliant smile 😁

Buju disappeared into the system.

"Wait what 😲"

James woke back to reality and saw an armor appearing on his body, he was becoming an Herald. A powerful lightning from above struck him and his armor was reinforced. He had the power to control lightning.

James blasted Natalya away with lightning before she crushed Ruby's head and the impact sent her flying into the city hall where Griffon and the other two survivors of the Balenzoro attack were hiding. There was uttermost silence for sometime before a slash and dice sound followed by the screams of people being slaughtered echoed out.

Natalya busted out of the building into the air and tossed three bloody heads at James.

The heads of Tony, Lizzy and Griffon rolled on the floor.

"I can't take on two Heralds at the same time but I can inflict damage into their soul...I will definitely be back for more heads....💀" Natalya said and flew away till she was out of sight.

James's heart skipped a beat,his son's head was on the floor.

Griffon's head was on the floor,

He knelt down completely devastated as his armor disappeared. He was completely weakened by the sight. His only son was slaughtered....his only son was dead. He grabbed Griffon's head and stared at it.

FLASHBACK

"Oh and I told you there would be a consequence for telling you right...😊....well you gladly accepted so here's the consequence. I'll take your only son....." James remembered Bujus last words

Ruby stood up and walked over to James. Her eyes widened in surprise. Tears fell of her eyes.

"They took my son....they took my only son" James was in a great deal of confusion and pain.

"I'm s.. ..s .. sorry" Ruby said.

"Go away before the cops get here." James said

"I'm so..." Ruby was about to complete her statement when James snapped.

"I said go away!!!!!" James thundered out

Ruby quickly leaped into the air and flew away, she was lost, she was totally lost in thought, the night dance was a terrible showdown.

"She said something about higher beings called the Jobi, I have to tell Jared about this" Ruby thought.

"It only took two dark Heralds to scar me for life.... imagine what a bigger group would do to the world....I will look for all these bad guys....I must find them. Once I do, I will extract info about the Jobi ...then I will KILL THEM😈👿"
