Chapter 6: Incident

Ardyn started to walk with Talia after he got Anna's number. Ardyn smiled "Look at that I already got a pretty girls number."

Talia rolled her eyes "Another damsel that you tricked."

Ardyn sighed "Don't worry it's not like she is anyone from the league. She won't try to kill me if I dump her. I think at least."

Talia nodded with a big smile "That was pretty funny. Anyways I know we said to be wary of this group but I like them so try to be nice and don't be you."

Ardyn stumbled as he was walking "A little harsh sis."

Talia sighed "Whatever just be nice they are a good group. They might even be willing to join us later even if they are not all strong."

Ardyn scanned over looking at the group they were heading towards. Ardyn couldn't believe that Talias friend group was Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, Felicia Hardy, Peter Parker and Harry Osborn. When Ardyn could tell that Peter already had his spider powers which seemed early for MCU. But he rolled with it.

Ardyn and Talia then sat down with the rest of the group and they all introduced themselves to Ardyn.

Ardyn then smiled and said "Nice to meet all of you im Ardyn Sephiroth."

MJ smiled "So Ardyn was the girl you were walking with earlier your girlfriend?"

Ardyn shook his head "No just someone I met today."

No one could see it but Gwen who was sitting next to MJ but she did a small fist pump under the table. Gwen just shook her head at her dumb friend who seemed to already be head over heels for the new guy.

Harry then asked "So where are you guys from?"

Ardyn sighed "We are from Nanda Parbat."

Peter then spoke up "Oh that's super cool you guys grew up by the Appalachian mountains correct."

Talia nodded "Yeah it's super nice and peaceful there."

Ardyn laughed "Yeah super peaceful."

Harry then asked "So why did you come to college here?"

Ardyn smiled "Both my sister an I are planning on becoming doctors. So we are both taking Kinesiology trying to get our bachelors."

Gwen smiled "I'm in Kinesiology as well that's how I ran into Talia."

They then continued to talk for the rest of their break. They eventually went on to their own classes. The day ended with Ardyn's last class which he had with Talia. Once it was over they both headed to the main yard where the fountain was to meet up with Scott Summers and Jean Grey.

Talia then questioned as they were walking "So what's the plan?"

Ardyn just shrugged his shoulders "I don't really have one, from the information I stole from various organizations the X-men are a famous group. A lot of people are just idiots and can not connect the dots. They obviously come from Charles Xaivers school. There is a reason both Shield and Hydra look into them."

Talia nodded "So let's be friendly with them. They potentially could join us."

Ardyn shook his head "Very unlikely Charles is very peaceful publicly. It is unlikely he is any different in person. He would not exactly agree with the way we would handle things. We might be able to sway some people to our side. But let's wait on that for awhile there are others we can get to join. Let's just make friends."

Talia eyed Ardyn "Just make friends huh? Nothing else?"

Ardyn rolled his eyes "Listen whatever happens happens. The unexpected is what makes life fun."

Talia sighed "I guess."

Ardyn and Talia kept walking to the center with the water fountain where they were at early in the day. They planned to meet Scott and Jean there so they could further talk about what happened and potentially go to the mutant school.

Ardyn sighed internally 'I rather not go but it seems like that might be the only option I don't know much about them but if I had to take a guess there is a high chance Scott Summers is cyclops not many people would wear glasses indoors especially with someone as prideful as him. I'm sure even he knows it looks dumb. Jean though is a mystery clearly she can read minds but who knows if her powers end there.'

Ardyn and Talia finally made it to the fountain and saw Jean and Scott waiting there for them.

Ardyn smiled and said with slight anger "Hey what's up. You guys ready to talk?"

Talia hit Ardyn in the stomach "Sorry about him. What he meant to say is that we should talk about what happened earlier."

Jean nodded "Yeah would you guys mind coming to our home?"

Ardyn smiled "Sure that's no…."

Ardyn's phone started to ring he looked down and saw the number "One second."

Ardyn walked a couple feet away an answered.

Ardyn smiled "I know I'm handsome but I didn't think you would call that fast."

Ardyn then frowned when on the other end he heard Anne say "Ardyn I need your help."

Ardyn frowned "What's wrong."

Anna sounded out of breath as if she was running "Listen I'm on Lexington street adjacent with 32nd street. Please get here as fast as you can. I'm being chased please hurry."

Ardyn nodded "I'm on my way."

Ardyn then hanged up "Talia I got to go. Jean Scott we can do this another time."

Before any of them could answer Ardyn ran to where his car was parked and screeched his tires out of the parking lot.

Ardyn quickly made his way over and when he saw the spot he parked and got out of his car. Ardyn looked around but did not see Anna though. He did see a spot of blood on the ground in an entrance to the alleyway. Ardyn touched it and focused on the blood. A mental map appeared in his head with a trail he noticed whoever was bleeding. Was in the alleyway a street down.

Ardyn started to run as fast as he could. His speed currently was up to Captain America's and he started to slow down once he made it to the entrance of the alleyway. When he looked over he saw four members of a group he recognized immediately.

Ardyn cursed "Fucking Hydra."

They were surrounding Anna. Ardyn shook his head "How could they have found her. Whatever it doesn't matter now."

Ardyn noticed that their were two in front and then two behind them. In some kind of box formation.

Ardyn quickly ran behind the two who were funnily enough the same height making it easier. He pulled out his sword from his soul Masamune and quickly cut both their heads off. When the blood spurted out Ardyn focused on his magic and used it to make the blood pierce one of the still alive hydra members in the head. While he then pierced the other Hydra member in both his knees. Making him immobile but alive.

Before anyone could even react Ardyn had already taken care of the situation. Anna looked over and noticed it was Ardyn she was about to speak but was then stopped as Ardyn knelt down by the alive hydra member and quickly put his hand in his mouth and ripped out a tooth.

Ardyn turned around and dusted off his clothes "Sorry I had to make sure he did not take the cyanide tablet."

Ardyn noticed the cut on her arm was decently deep. Ardyn smiled "Can I fix that for you."

Anna looked confused "Uhhh sure."

Ardyn put his hand on her arm. Her intial reaction was to jerk back. But he gripped her hard so she would not get away. He then slowly healed her arm and in a couple seconds he let go. When Anna looked at her arm again she noticed that the cut was completely gone no scar no sign she even got hurt.

Anna said in a daze "Are you a mutant too?"

Anna quickly covered her mouth realizing she let it escape that she was one. She was cursing in her own head.

Ardyn smiled at her antics and just shook his head "I don't have the mutant gene I do have powers though."

Anna nodded. Ardyn then continued "So what is your power?"

Anna sighed "I can drain people's energy."

Ardyn questioned "Drain their energy?"

Anna nodded "Whenever I touch people no matter what their energy will be drained."

Ardyn smiled "Take my hand."

Anna was hesitant at first but then grabbed his hand. After noticing for awhile that he was not having any adverse effects happening to Ardyn she looked in awe.

Anna had a huge smile "How am I not hurting you?"

Ardyn shrugged "I have an extremely fast regeneration. Maybe that is why, do you still feel like you are taking power from me."

Anna nodded "Yeah but it just calms me." and then Ardyn said "Well grab that hydra guys hand and let's see."

Anna grabbed the Hydra members hand with far less hesitation. He started to scream out in pain and Anna let go of his hand.

Ardyn shrugged "I guess you can't hurt me."

Anna had stars in her eyes and quickly hugged Ardyn. Ardyn was a little shocked but hugged her back. Anne questioned "So what now?"

Ardyn snapped his fingers "Oh right one sec."

Ardyn then proceeded to call Talia. "Hey Talia come grab my car at this location then pick me up at this location. Also be ready we have someone willing to tell us some information."

Talia started to laugh on the other end. Ardyn then hung up. Ardyn then patted the hydra member on the ground "Sorry big man she loves her job."
