The Cave Where Modifications Rise I

The island was nothing big. It was, however, big enough to have a thick forest to hide a laboratory inside one of its caves.

Raizel stopped upon one of the caves situated in the elevated grounds. It was dark, but not quite silent. The crickets and frogs were as noisy as much as they could.

As they entered, Ludis stretched his hand forward, and emanating a yellow glow of aura, he lightened up the dark.

Raizel moved about the inside of the cave as if he's been there many times. In fact, he does not hesitate on his turns on directions. The small cave seems to have stretched infinitely as one way leads to two more. The deeper they went, the colder it gets. Finally, Raizel stopped. Wondering why he did, the two looked ahead of them.

There stood in front of them a wide, bolted steel door. It was shut close, but that was of no problem to this group.

Tao came forward and with a knock-like punched, blasted the door down.

Inside of it was a room, dark at first but simultaneously lits up as they entered. The light sources which seemed to be torches but they were using electricity. Inside of the cave was a cozy little library. Shelves on top of shelves of books, adjacent to another shelves of books. It was, however, empty.

"Not quite." Said Tao. "We're not done here."

Across the room was another iron door. Tao cross the room, and turned the door knob. It was not lock, so as easily, he threw the door opened.

What's inside of the room. What was it that bore in front of him. The two other didn't waste a time to guess or asked questions. Tao was shakened and stirred to the core, evident by his trembling and takened eyes.

As they all checked it, only Ludis was unable to recognize what was happening. Raizel was as unshakened as ever. He was surprised, sure, but he just stared as calmly as one could.

It was not Frankenstein that they saw inside.

It was not even an enemy, or seem to be an enemy.

It was none other than…

"Hey, Boss… you need a hand?" Tao asked. He clearly remembered the time Frankenstein first set off to hunt down the remnants of Union, as well as everything that is related to them; Labs and Studies.

It was early in the morning, and Tao was expecting to continue with his job as a special unit of security officers in Yeran Highschool after their battle against Crombell. He still has a few bruise here and there, but he can just walk it off. He's more excited about returning to his normal life, doing normal job.

"I'm fine, Tao." Frankenstein replied. "In fact, if there's anywhere I need you to be, it's here. It'd take my mind off of things here when I knew it's safe."

"When'd you learn to sugarcoat and compliment?" Tao asked, blushing a little.

"But will you really be fine doing this alone Frankenstein?" Asked Takeo. "Dark Spear's had a load, and it's better to round this up if we're all out there around the globe, don't you think?"

"That's final. Don't worry, I have an assistant."

"Assistant?"

"Yeah. This is the start of his punishment for being part of the Union."

Suddenly, they heard someone landed right outside the door. Tao walked up, and peek through the window blinds. Much to his surprise, it was…

"3rd Elder!?" Tao uttered in surprised.

In front of him was the 3rd Elder. Unconscious, and covered in bruise and blood.
