Vincent got to the sitting room and saw Ashlyn in the position she was with her eyes closed. "Is she already asleep?" He mused in his head and gently walked towards her.

Observing her face, he chuckled."Hey! Are you asleep?"

"No." He heard her short reply almost immediately and she opened her eyes.

"I thought as much." He muttered under his breath when her eyes opened. "It's late let's go and sleep."

"...Huh!!! You're sleeping on the couch, right?" She raised her brows giving him a questioning look.

Hearing her question, Vincent inhaled softly, shrugged his shoulders, and started walking back to her room.

Being ignored, Ashlyn cursed silently wishing she could give Vincent a good slap on the face. Everything about him was stirring up something within her and she felt frustrated.
